Things have gotten a bit hectic for me lately. My mom has gone from bad to worse in the health department. Yesterday 11/19/09 we called in Hospice. It's a good thing and I think they will really be a benefit to Dad as well.

Anyone who really knows me would say if you need a prayer just call Diann. I believe that anywhere, any place is the perfect place to pray. Don't need to start a new prayer everyday because the one from yesterday just continues. As a Christain I believe that we all need to stick together in this world. as we are not of it but just in it. So for all you Christains I pose this question - what stone is not mentioned in the eternal city that has been built for us? You know the one with the giand pearl doors? I love to read. Nothing is better than losing yourself to a good book. Be it in the tub, under a tree or just on the couch all curled up. I am particulary drawn to historical romance. but have been know to really throw folks off by reading a little bit of everything.

My all time favorite move is Man from Snowy River. Second would be, yeppers you guessed it Return to Snowy River. Would rather rent a movie than pay to go and see one, but have someone rude behind me talk all the way through it. I think all totaled I own around 400 of them. Renaissance age movies are also a favorite of mine.

One of my favorites was Gilmore Girls, but it is now gone. Men in Trees. My soap opera All My Children. Don't particullay care for sci fi or horror.

I love to attend Renaissance Fares. I have a couple of costumes and am working on more. I love feathers and have two feather hats and another feather headpiece that I wear. I am the webmaster for a society I am in. Austin Gem and MIneral Society. Have been with them for around 44 years or so. Currently I am also the show dealer chair, and sunshine. I love animals and several of them think they are my masters :) smile. I have 5 cats, 5 dogs, a doxie and 2 great danes and 2 toy poodles, 2 horses, 2 roosters, 7 chickens, 3 turkeys, 1 duck and 2 geese. Guess it's a good thing I live in the country!!!

I collect wind chimes(have over 30), bells, anything to do with raccoon and wolves. Feathers of course, (goes without saying). Also love to do faceting and other lapidary work. Garden and do canning. Love to pen pal and am always open to new pen pals. Oh one import last thing, I am a SOLDIERS ANGEL. If you dont' know what that is email me and i will explain.

I like most chocolate, but am alergic to ginger, and am finding it in the most unusal places lately. Please double check the ingredients on things you might send me. I want to be able to enjoy it!! Love coconut, mint, orange, blueberry, lime, vanilla On candles I like anything but patchaguli(sp?) turtle oil and spice. My favorites scents are gardenia, melon. lime and vanillas.

I love Christain rock and have loads of tapes to sing along with. Petra rocks, along with Tony Elenberg. He is awesome. Ever hear Ricky Scaggs sing Somebody's Praying? It will bring tears to your eyes! There are also several country western songs and most everything except rap, which I can't stand.

I made a trip to Houston on 2/7/09 and came back with 2 new dogs. They are both standard poodles. One is a parti color brown adn white and the other is an apricot. They are so neat and have opposite personalities. Will post pics soon on my website.
