I'm a green-kneed ol' granny woman, who loves to craft, dig in the dirt and swap, of course... hehe.... I love living here in the Blue Ridge mountains and find many natural supplies lying around begging me to pick 'em up! I am a tree hugging pagan who is a solitary practitioner and enjoy meeting folks with similiar values/leanings. psssttt...... planting zone SEVEN!!!!!!!
In my evil day job (which really isn't evil except that takes away some of my crafting time!) I work with a state agency that helps people with disabilities find jobs and was a Job Coach for 25 years prior to that.
I love soapmaking, herbcrafting, sewing, scrapbooking/papercrafting, and have really enjoyed being involved with my spot on Etsy!
I am the proud mom of two adult kids - my daughter (34)who is now in the UK and serving in the AF and darling son-in law who is also there. My son (32) works with Nasa/DOE and has a wonderful wife and an adorable grandson...
I love recycling "trash" into treasures and have got my family and coworkers trained very well...hehehe...
Most folks who know me well will tell you I am a goofball and enjoy having fun.
I love swaps and participate in them actively on Etsy and also on some of the Yahoo groups regularly.
Likes: Earthy, Herbal, Fruity fragrances, most EO's...Dislike: Most designer dupes, heavy florals, artificial fruit fragrances.
love the earthy colors - browns and greens and oranges...also the water ones! blues and greens .... red is a fav too! Not so crazy about neon or cutesy prints.
I am also into jewelry making and like creating all types of accessories. I do have pierced ears, and prefer simpler designs in jewelry.
Music? I love bluegrass, alternative, motown, blues, world.... not much into metal or rap.
I love dark chocolate, dark roast coffee and all sorts of tea.
Swapping, for me is a very stimulating and empowering process. I have learned alot about crafting as a result of me stretching my limits and trying new things. On the magick side of things, this process helps me to create with INTENT , and IMHO is what magick is all about!
I am looking forward to getting to know y'all!

ok then, mystery solved...didn't want to take the candles into the tub with me and start washing intil you confirmed it LOL. I think I'd rather burn them then. I just joined the party in the lava pit also. Lucky girl that gets you on that one, I can't wait to get started!

Thank you for joining Love 2 Swap
Even if you didn't make the beads, you certainly have a great eye for good finds! And thanks for the compliment! I know what you mean about "finding" stuff---I often find myself saying "oooh, this would be good for this swap, this would be good for that partner..." LOL! blessings, Gypsy
