Wow. ok, i'm gonna sound like the boy who cried wolf, but i honestly got hit by a car. i'm typing this one-handed because i broke my wrist and i'm going to be in surgery tomorrow. They're pinning the bones in place so they don't slide around while I'm in a cast. Personally, I'm feeling pretty lucky that I'm conscious and alive, considering. What this means for you is that crafting is going to be going slowly for a while, and about every swap i'm signed up for right now (including 3 i'm hosting) is going to be significantly late. I will be working on these, but it will be difficult and slow. Thank you for understanding. -Erica
Although I am on the line between Scorpio and Saggitarius, most of my friends consider me to be a Saggi. I am amazing. Just to let you know. Not that I'm full of myself-- but you have to figure, when you are surrounded by amazing people, chances are that you, also, are amazing. And I am surrounded by amazing people. Plus, my real name is Princess The Amazing. I have lived in California my whole life, but my favorite place in the world is England. I have three fabulous and divine sisters who are not really related to me but are clearly my sisters anyway. I am a Wiccan, and some of my favorite things to do include enjoying wasting time on the internet, crafting, music-ing (listening, buying, writing, playing, singing), and reading. I am madly in love with my baby cat (she's 2) Truly, who seems to be missing right now :( . My favorite colors are green and orange, my favorite animals are elephants, frogs, sea turtles, cats, zebras, and ladybugs.
Tom Waits, Regina Spektor, Medieval Baebes, The Beatles, Queen, Lucinda Williams, Opera (I like girls who sing opera more than guys who do- no offense, guys), Neil Young, Lily Allen, Soundtrack, Music Boxes, Emily Loizeau, Louis Jordan, Jim Croce, Sharon Knight, Alan Menken, Beethoven's Harpsichord Sonatas, The White Stripes, Gwen Stefani, Charlotte Sometimes, even Dolly Parton. Can't stand religious music. I like Celtic music.
Sherlock Holmes, Harry Potter, Jane Austen, Alice in Wonderland, Through the Looking Glass, Nancy Drew, The Penderwicks, Heir Apparent, Shakespeare (especially his sonnets), Emily Dickinson. I guess the last two aren't really books. Neil Gaiman.
Ever After, Original Disney Princess Movies, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Baron Munchausen, The Great Race, Across the Universe, Stardust, Sense and Sensibility (Emma Thompson, Alan Rickman), Clueless, Pride and Prejudice, the Importance of Being Earnest (Colin Firth, Reese Witherspoon, Judi Dench, etc), Star Wars, Disney Princess movies (no sequels!!), HAIR, SOund of Music, Mary Poppins, Dead Poet's SOciety, Now and Then, Fried Green Tomatoes, Meet the Robinsons, Anything Tim BUrton (I can't wait to see Alice!), Alice in Wonderland (Disney, Tina Majorino, hopefully Burton),... too many.
Way too hard to decide. Well, I can't knit or crochet-- the last time I tried, I started with twelve stitches, and began frogging when I had forty stitches of something that looked like a huge, flat slice of furry green swiss cheese, by virtue of all the holes. I like gluing things, sewing things, cutting things, and pretty much everything else except for knitting or crocheting. I like beading, also. I love making ATCs, scene jars, and jewelry, I love embellishing clothing (and I have gemagic, compare to bedazzler), cigar boxes, etc, I love STUFF and gluing it onto other STUFF! It makes me feel fabulous and calm and happy, and then it looks pretty and sometimes I can use it!
I like the fifties, sixties, and seventies (mostly '60's) and I like anytime before 1920. I like cameos and clocks, gypsies, pirates, steampunk, puzzles, riddles, harry potter, jane austen, mermaids, faeries, flying, Captain Black's Citrus Flavored Pirate Bubble Gum Cigarettes (I don't smoke!!), houndstooth, quidditch, france, hoop skirts, glitter, peace signs, ballroom dance, quills etc., nancy drew, wigs, costumes, secret passageways etc., old books, and other similarly whimsical things. Like creme brulee, although that's more delicious than whimsical. I also really like zebras, frogs, sea turtles, and elephants. And ladybugs are lucky, and so is the number 18. Especially ladybugs with 18 spots. I really like the Disney Princesses, especially Belle and Jasmine, but I like them all. I like cats and Halloween, and I like planning parties. My past Halloween costumes have included Belle (twice, different costumes) a mermaid (thrice, different costumes), Jasmine, an autumn wood fairy (my friend was a spring one), Anne Bonny, a gypsy, a high fashion witch, and more. I really like my ugly-doll "ice bat", jewelry (the bigger and more crazy-amazing the better, generally, but I don't like mixing metals, or a whole bunch of different color rhinestones like in those giant Ross Simons rings where they fade across the rainbow... ick). I like chocolate. My favorite smells are lavender, apple, vanilla, cloves, cinnamon, shea butter, jasmine, tea, oranges, old books. I drink way too much tea, and I can't stand coffee, but I like things with the coffee flavor, like coffee ice cream, and those coffee rio things from trader joes. However, there is nothing like a good cup of constant comment, some of my open faced tomato basil tea sandwiches, and the Alan Rickman and Emma Thompson version of Sense and Sensibility. Nothing like it. In fact, I think I'll go live that out right now. Also, I have an incurable fondness for mushrooms. Both as food and as decoration.
I don't like IQ-deteriorating cartoons, rap music, itchy party hats, closed-minded people, millipedes, granola, and really hot weather plus mosquitoes. I also don't like anime and most japanese-inspired stuff like that, or anything overly cutesy or commercial. I don't like getting sandy all over at the beach such that you find sand in your ear a week later, I don't like charging my cell phone, and I don't like conformists. I hate ginger and alcohol.
Because I see that wishlists are good things and many people use and have them and they are often required.
Rubber Stamps! (I'm trying to expand my pitiful collection)
Ephemera/Junque
Recommended Music (anything with harpsichord? anything, really. Just not super obscene rap)
Pretty Fabric swatches, lace, ribbon
Buttons (especially shaped ones- I found this radish-bunch-shaped vintage button at an antique store near me... gorgy!), glitter, beads, charms
jewelry (not too picky, see likes-I LOVE RINGS!! I'm looking for cameos, especially)
Exacto Knife!!!!!!!!!
Craft Paper, specialty paper
Yay for food! Tea food (sandwiches, tea, petit fours, icebox cookies, tarts, etc.) is grand! So is Moroccan food! There's all the food I do like (mushrooms!!!!!), and then there's what I don't like, which is pretty much just cauliflower, mint tea, ginger, anything with way too much food coloring, eggs (I like them sometimes, in omelettes, egg salad sandwiches, deviled eggs, or eggs in a basket), papaya/guava/passionfruit, and sweet pickles. Also, I have a serious sweet tooth. I love tootsie rolls, chocolate (especially with nuts or orange or raspberry flavoring, but not with liquor... ick!), See's Chocolate (yep, that's a whole other category), British candy (just not those funky licorish things), gummy bears, haribo gummies (especially the coke bottles), and snickers. Yum. I hate alcohol. It is disgusting, for one thing. Also, I don't really approve of it for other reasons. It makes otherwise good people do not-so-good things. I love Trader Joes. I like mango, but I cannot touch the skin. I get an allergic reaction.
I DO have pierced ears. I do not have any other piercings, but if you send me a bellybutton ring that will be enough motivation for me to go get a piercing there. I've been thinking about it for the longest time. And then there would be the consequential reaction that I would want to get rid of my tummy, so I would excercise more. So nothing bad could come of sending me a bellybutton ring. I have no metal allergies. I have no food allergies except that I cannot touch mango skin, as I get all itchy, but that should not be a problem. I wear glasses (I don't know how that could be important, but I'm sure someone will need to know). I am not allergic to any animals (mosquitoes, bees, etc don't count) so if something has cat hair on it, that's fine. Silver over gold any day. In case you missed this, I am a Wiccan. Please do not send me anything biblical- it's not that I have a problem with it, I just don't have a use for it.

I am so sorry you were hurt! I'm your partner for All Things Piratey ATC. I'm not rating, and won't unless you do send. I hope later in your recovery you will enjoy doing this again, but I totally understand you have other places for your energy now. Best Wishes Jo
