I love color and everything about it. I could say the same for glitter and sparkle. I own at least 5 pairs of shoes made entirely out of sequins or sparkles or something else ridiculous. I can't get enough. Yellow is #1 and teal is #2.

I'm in love with the Autumn weather. I love fall accessories like scarves and boots and hats. This is definitely my favorite season.

I look for inspiration everywhere...in lyrics, the breeze, images, sounds bytes, other people, blogs, etc.

I tend to worry about other people before myself and this site has been great for generating sources for recipients of random acts of kindness.

I'm trying to use the supplies that I have, not hoard, and not over-buy things that are not necessary for me.

I keep everything I get in the mail though. It's all special. Each year I start a new binder/volume of my snail mail collections.

I am on a bunch of different mail sites like Postcrossing, IUOMA, Sendsomething, Interpals, etc. My screen names are maryhassound on all of them. Friend me!

In 2011 I discovered the wonderful community of mail-art and that's why my activity on swap-bot has been so infrequent. I love mail and with mail-art I like the uncertainty of when something will be sent and what it will be. I still appreciate and value the things swap-bot has to offer, I made some fantastic friends here, and I will always have a profile here. With school and work and the business of my schedule, the flexibility that general mail art allows is something that's more my speed right now. I'm always taking on new pen-pals and people to exchange with though. Send me a message!

I'm always joining a lot of postcard swaps, so I figured it was necessary to make a section for it on my profile. I like:

• handwritten postcards

• weird non-touristy postcards
• stickers on the back -pretty (multi)colored ink
• to hear about what inspires you, what your three wishes would be, a secret, something unusual you did that day or recently, a quote, or what's on your desk... in the messages portion of the postcard.
