I'm a craft fanatic and I'm hooked on crochet. I love doing all sorts of crafts, I'll try anything and I love to experiment with different mediums and techniques, somethings work and somethings don't and somethings lead to happy accidents and whole new ideas. I'm also a thrift store junky and love yardsales. Becuase I live in such a rural area I have had to look for other sources of craft supplies and use unusual items to work with. I'm also an avid junk crafter and recycler. I love to turn something old into something new. I use a lot of recycled items in my swaps, hope you don't mind. I also recycle all shipping material and packaging, waste not, want not. Be kind to Mother Nature!

I enjoy listening to just about any type of music, just depends on my mood. 70's classic rock is one of my favorites most of the time.

I love to read, but get so engrossed I can't stop the book is finished, I'm the same with puzzles. Most of the books I buy are usually diy and crafting books. My latest favorite author is Nicholas Sparks, great love stories, tear jerkers at times.

I'm gonna combine movies and television here. I don't spend much time watching tv, I do love old classic movies, especially Betty Davis and Shirley Temple movies. I love to watch old Our Gang shows, they are hard to find on tv anymore. My favorite tv shows are Lost and ER. I do keep up with American Idol a bit mainly because hubby watches it. I do enjoy crocheting time in front of the tv.

I live life as fully as I can, I enjoy having a housefull of friends and family and feeding them is a lot of work, but very rewarding and lots of fun for me. There's nothing better than a table full of good food and lots of people to share it with. I have lots of pets, can't imagine life without them. 3 dogs, all Shelties that I adopted, 5 cats, 2 adopted and 3 rescues. I also have an iguana that I adopted and a frog, there's a hamster and fish here too. I've even had chickens and a goat. I love my pets and I love life. Life is just way too short not to have a good time while you're here on earth!
