Hi, I'm 24-years-old girl from Finland. I'm a philology/linguistics student at university and live in my lovely flat alone. No boyfriend and happy with my situation, I love being independent and doing things on my own way.

I'm a scout, postcrosser and a bit music freak, also pretty interested in all pop culture. I love to travel and I have already about 20 countries on my visited list.

I make paper crafts (not scrapbooking) and sew sometimes. I like to knit small things (mittens and such). If I had more time I'd do more crafting.

what I pledged

• Colourful and special stamps on my mail always make me smile. If possible, please please, use a scout stamp :)

• I understand English, Swedish, Finnish, German and some Danish & Norwegian.

• It's nice if you write a note with the swap and maybe tell something about the things you are sending to me (what they are, why you picked them, where did you get them etc.).

• My favourite colours are all shades of blue and turquoise, I also like greys, apple green and chocolate brown. Pink and lime green are great effect colours, but I don't like them in large amounts.

• I love everything that has something to do with stars, snowflakes, fairys or crowns :)

• Yummy flavours: mint (but not in tea), fudge/caramel, cinnamon, mango, apple, cherry, mintchocolate and coconut. No no: nuts (except coconut), dark chocolate, chewing gum.

• My favourite animal is giraffe and I like ladybugs, hedgehogs and black cats too. And I adore orchids!

• Fruity black teas are my favourites. I don't like chamomille, mint, licorice or green tea.

• Sanrio (esp. Chococat) and other kawaii, Tinkerbell (the fairy, you know), My Little Pony, Carebears, Emily the Strange, Harry Potter, Le Petit Prince and Jip&Janneke (from Netherlands) stuff.

• Scout and Harry Potter stamps.

• Funny, cute, colourful plasters/bandaids.
