About Me

I am the luckiest person I know ... I go to the greatest job in the world every day. I am a teacher of children who "fill my bucket" daily with love, enthusiasm, and energy. I am blessed to spend time with creative kids who inspire me to step outside the box and bend the rules when it makes sense.

Favorite Books

Historical fiction is probably my favourite genre of adult literature. I love being transported to another time and place.

As a teacher, I am also passionate about quality children's literature. Sophisticated picture books ... poetry ... ABC books ... graphic novels ... information books. Everything has a place in my classroom library.

I'm a reality show junkie! Survivor, American Idol, Big Brother, and Amazing Race are all favourites.

Favorite Movies

Not a big movie fan. I watch action/adventure movies .... mostly because my husband is watching them and I share the space.

Favorite Crafts

It's not really a craft I suppose, but I've recently discovered photography. New camera in hand, I'm always out looking for a great shot.

Comment: Thank you, Deluca, we really enjoyed your ATC's. Torii showed them, along with others she and I have received, at her school's "Explore Art" night yesterday evening. Her favorite is the duct tape card, mine is the mustache man with the pink hair! We both liked the starry-eyed snowman :)

Lots of groovy love i send to you Sylvia and a warm welcome to swap bot .I am to send to you in the A.T.C newbies butterflies although i am a crafter in many ways knitting ,handmade cards and postcards ,altered art, quilling, parchment craft this is only my 2nd artist trading card i think they are going to be one of my favourites now .It's great to put your own artistic flair on them i cant draw but i love acrylic paints and it's amazing what you can do just by cutting and sticking different textures and colours together .If you read my profile you can read a bit about me just press on my name and it will take you to my page. I am so glad i found swap bot once you join some of the groups and start to make friends it takes you to a great feeling in your heart .When i was a child Enid Blyton was my guide i read all her books and it made me have the wonderfull imagination and morals i have now im a woman .You take care now and look out for an envelope from the U.K it will be me .love n hugs hippysherree n Patch xxxxx
