I hate to talk about myself. I love purple. I have a black cat & a black dog (both shelter mutts). I live in an old family summer house (winterized) in a small, small town. I volunteered as an ambulance driver for 10 years. I am a sometime potter, hoping to develop an aesthetic based on firing with local scrap wood. I love fabric & yarn, I even sew & knit a little. I halfway live in cyberspace.

Read constantly especially fiction but also history, anthropology; what was it like? what would it be like?

I hate using the telephone, love e-mail, don't care for chat but prefer more considered writing.

Wish list:

beads: I would like to give away some I make that are too heavy for jewelry I would wear, in exchange for ideas and more beads.

fabric: corduroy/velveteen, cotton small prints for sewing; anything purple for crafts

Dislikes:

peanuts+sweet flavors, coconut, mushrooms, perfumes, poodles

Like:

old machinery, natural fibers, coffee, ginger

I sing choral music, play folkie guitar and handbells.
