I'm a 3rd grade teacher and wanna be hippie chick who refuses to grow up. I am an avid reader. I'm a part-time yoga teacher. I've read all the Harry Potter's ( I have to, it's my job) and am currently reading Jodi Piccoult. I ADORE Fall, Halloween, spooky Halloween-ey things, ghosties, Dr. Who, fairies, cats, old homes, historical places, pirates, books, music, photos, knitting and sewing stuff, yoga, stickers, stationary, and teacher-ey things and tea (esp, rubios, jasmine and black tea infused with cherry). I'm an on again, off again crafter. I'd like to learn how to sew-I have an awesome sewing machine that my mom gave me. Unfortunately, I've forgotton everything I learned in my home-ec sewing class. Oh! and I've been knitting the same roll brim hat for about two years. I also like to glue shells on boxes and mirrors for a victorian-nautical look.

Just a little FYI: I'm really trying to cut down the number of swaps that I participate in, mostly because work has overwhelmed me and I'm trying to save $$$. That being said: If I am late sending out a swap, please don't hesitate to contact me. I may have simply (cack!) forgotten.

knitting (way beginner), sewing, ATC's, Altered journals, making beaded jewelry (although I haven't done this in a WHILE!

chocolate chip cookies, anything chocolate for that matter, hot teas, spices like cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice. I'm trying to cook more often, so I like the idea of collecting recipes. I'm also trying (and failing) at being a vegetarian.

I'm new to this whole kawaii thing. Here's what I like...anything pink or green (yes, I am a girly girl), Sanrio, Hello Kitty, Kawaii cats in general(Kuromi), frogs, and bears. I also like foods like cherries, cute cupcakes, etc...Dislikes would be Disney, Snoopy, etc. I like animals but not human kawaii. Think more cartoon-y, and kawaii that is truly Japanese in origin. Also, since I am a teacher, I'm constantly looking for cute pens, pencils, stickers, and stationary to use in my class.
