THEMES I LIKE

Mexican Arts and crafts is what I love and day of the dead is my MOST FAVORITE .I have many matchboxes and ATCs of dia de los muertos swaps in my collection. So most of all themes : SKELETONS ,SKULLS AND SUGAR SKULLS!!! I am crazy about collecting all kind of these,handmade or baught ,(but NOT scary ones or dark ,I dont like "heavy metal" or death style ones,I like happy skeletons or skulls)and anything handmade is most cherished or baught.Really, anything!

.I like other Mexican themes like Frida Kahlo, loteria, images or things representing chilies,mariachis,milagros ,piñatas, tacos,fiesta,sombreros,tequila, cactus,scorpions,(of these last 3 please dont send real ones! Lol)and even if I am NOT religious I like religious Art of Guadalupe virgen,milagros and ex-votos ....

. Themes about " postage" (either postage stamps,cancelations,postmarks, envelopes,arty stamps, pictures of mailboxes or a mailman, stamp albums ,first day covers, anything about the postal system !

I send people themes or technique that they like and it is not always what I personally wish for or like.If someone likes fairies or kawaii for example,and I dont, I try and please them with the themes they like anyway.

FAVORITE COLORS:

I love vibrant colors .Every color EXCEPT: pastel colors ,baby blue and pastel pink.

What I DO NOT like : I do not criticize and I am happy with anybody's style of Artwork or gift but I tend to not go for cute like girly stuff, hello kitty, kawai,fairy things, food( no eddible things please)And english words on your ATCs.When I show my ATCs to french or spanish friends they dont understand and say it looks like advertisement. If its a postcard ,journal or anything else,of course it is fine to have words

*Rubber stamps(especially searching for ATC rubber stamp for writting name and info on back of ATCs) but also rubber stamps for borders ,patterns and shapes that dont represent anything.

*Things for my altar shrines .Since I make 6"x 7" frame boxes , tuff I need is miniature food and objects ,a rosary,miniature people and skellies.....made out of anything like felt,pottery,wood etc.

*glitter pens

*Awesome picture frames

*Notepads,journals or notebooks of natural or recylcled papers OR regular paper with themes that I like on the front cover

*Fabric flowers for my shrines(not the big stem ones for vases but small embellishment types)

*ANTIQUES (keys, needles,any old rusty metal thing to alter, old magazine images ,photos,small boxes , tin cans,photo albums,old greeting cards,really anything from the 50's or older .I love antiques and going to barn yard sales and looking for old stuff.

*Spiritual and esoteric objects like tarot, good luck charms,feng shui stuff, aromatic oils, a pendulum,

*Small jewelry boxes( usefull for keepsakes,ephemera...)

I speak 3 languages.Love to travel a lot and have done most of latin America.So you guessed: I go for hot and spicy .I love animals. I live in the country and do a lot of garden work. .When I'm in the city,I always have my camera with me cause I have this personal project of searching for Murals and even grafiti that is artistic to photograph.
