Hi everybody.

I'm Daniela from Chile. I'm 23 years old. I'm a future librarian.

I know a bit of Japanese. I like Japanese culture since I was a little girl.

I know a little bit of Finnish. I'm trying to learn the language.

I'm studying English by myself. I'm a Londoner at heart.

I ♥ books and cinema. I try to enjoy of the simple things of life but it's a bit difficult for me. I enjoy to read under a shadow's tree, black and white movies, polka dots, marimekko stuff, rainy days, surrealism, Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe, walk without destiny, Mr. Darcy from Pride and Prejudice, good music, anything Nightmare before Christmas and Tonari no Totoro related, cats, black-lilac-red and pink colours, romantic films, drinking coffe and tea. I cannot live without chocolate.

Favorite Books

I love books by Yukio Mishima, W.S Maugham, Paul Auster and Jane Austen, my favorite books are: On Human Bondage, The Temple of the Golden Pavilion, Atonement, Pride and Prejudice, Mr. Vertigo.

Favorite Movies

I'm crazy about Luis Bunuel and Woody Allen. I like Stanley Kubrick, Martin Scorsese and Tim Burton films too. I also love Miyasaki's movies.

Favorite Music

David Bowie, Nick Drake, Pink Floyd, Depeche Mode, The Clash, Jeff Buckley, Velvet Undergraund, The Beatles, Joy Division, Interpol.

Comment: Thank you so much for the amazing package! I love everything - the bookmarks, the mousemat, the Nicanor Parra booklet, the sweeties, and everthing else! I hope you enjoyed Atonement, I've read the book but I haven't seen the film. Anyway, thanks again - this is one of the best swap packages I have ever received, and it was definitely worth the wait!

This morning I was thinking about the time I spent in Chile a few years ago, and how lovely it was, and then I ended up with this beautiful greeting from Chile in my mailbox today. It was great!
