I'm still a newbie to sewing, but I get addicted more and more each day. I love fabric! Looking at my (yet small) stash of colourful cotton and linen makes me happy and dozens of ideas what to make of it are coming to my mind. :)

About Me

I'm from Germany, 34 years old and I would like to discover the swap-world with you. When I travel, I always walk straight into supermarkets or shoppingmalls, to see what kind of products are sold there. What people eat, and wear and read. But I don't travel enough, so I need to swap. Urgently! And maybe you are curious about the stuff that we have here in Germany, so I may help you out?

I like things that are typical for the region my swap partner is living in.

A few random things I like: * cats (a little black and white one is sharing my place with me)

  • japanese fabric, linen fabric, vintage fabic with flower patterns or kitchen motives

  • potholders, coasters, kitchentowels (vintage ones are also great), pin cushions

  • chocolate (no white or to dark ones please), plain milk chocolate is the best!

  • zipper pouches, tote bags, aprons

  • watermelons, lemons, oranges, strawberries

  • Iceland, France, Italy

  • typical edibles from your country

  • cupcakes, coffee, tea (herbal or fruity or white, no black teas plase) and related items

  • birds, esp. owls

  • the Moomins, Momiji, Alice in wonderland, Monokuro Boo

  • moleskine notebooks, but other notebooks too

  • flea markets, scented candles, polka dots, photography

  • buttons, ribbon, deco tape, embroidery floss and other sewing items

  • pasta, ice cream, music and movies

  • all kinds of flowers and plants

  • scandinavian design

and anything YOU made. :)

My favorite colours are all shades of blue and greens, turquoise, white and tomatored. I also like the combination of black and white. I'm not a big fan of pink, but if it's not the dominant colour it is ok to me !

Favorite Books

My favorite author right now is Neil Gaiman. But I read nearly every genre, from Fiction to Thrillers to Cookbooks! Yes, I really love Cookbooks. :)

Favorite Music

Ben Folds Five, Wilco, Jeff Buckley, Muse, The White Stripes, K`s choice, Placebo, Hole, Guillemots, Ryan Bingham, Bush, The Duke Spirit, Beatsteaks, Our Lady Peace, etc.

I loooove the colorful box! Wow! I also love your handmade boots. :o) I think I will copy the model to do the same to my mother and my sisters. My boyfriend and I have already tasted the chocolate and almonds: they are delicious! The handkerchiefs are very funny! And of course I looove the great fabric and buttons. Der Stiefel-Anhänger ist wirklich super - ich mag vor allem den roten Stoff den du da benutzt hast! Comment: Danke für das schöne Päckchen - die Stoffe sind toll, das Badesalz duftet super lecker, und die Schokoflocken sind genau richtig. Die Buchschachtel hat sich gerade mein Sohnemann geschnappt, weil das "das beste Schatzversteck überhaupt" ist :o) Vielleicht kann ich sie ja gegen ein paar Gummibärchen wieder eintauschen.
