I am a librarian :)
I try to live an organic life. I cook. A lot! I grow some of my own organic herbs. I love receiving postcards from far away places and dreaming that one day I will visit those places (and sometimes I actually do!). I can stare at maps for hours. I really love photography (although I don't have much time to pursue this lately), trying new food, listening to thunder in the distance, sweet and salty combined, chocolate everything, winter, Japanese food, going to London, typography, old b/w movies, cooking, and watching way too much TV.
I am still looking for that one special someone. He's got to be somewhere and I'm keeping my eyes (and heart) open.
I love nature, but enjoy living in the city. One day I hope to go to Japan. And New Zealand. And Hawaii too..

photography, sawing (by hand, I don't have a machine), papercrafts, cooking and baking, matchboxes. I wish I knew how to do collages. And I love trying new things.

Casablanca is by far the movie that I love most. I also love Apocalypse Now. Other movies and filmmakers I love: Monty Python, Woody Allen, Tim Burton, George Cloony, Steven Soderbergh, Gary Oldman, ..

The Cure,The Decemberists, Nick Cave, Coldplay, LCD Soundsystem, Scarlett Johansson, PJ Harvey, dEUS, IAMX, Kylie Monigue, Chet Baker, jazz, Beethoven, The Acorn, Stateless, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Arctic Monkeys... you get the eclectic idea.

• Colours: I would usually go for the darker colours (and never for neon!) but I think it's all in the combinations. I mostly enjoy one/few colour themes. I will enjoy any combo you think is beautiful - I trust your taste! Examples of recent faves are: blue & brown, red & black, green & anything, black & white, black & cream, red & brown, black & blue, brown & purple, etc.
• forest, trees, birds (especially ravens and red robins), bunny rabbits, penguins, hedgehogs. I don't like when animals are dressed as humans. Unless it's Alice in Wonderland
• boxes/jars/cans/tins/bento... containers :)
• acrilic paints - any colour
• Things with typography on them (alphabet letters, numbers)

I am a foodie. That should say it all. I prefer organic without artificials but it's not a must. I love trying new foods, herbs, seasonings, mixes, condiments, sauces, spreads..
I would love trying your local specialities.
Sweets: I'm not a fan of hard candy. But I will try anything else.
Chocolate: LOVE IT! Especially milk chocolate. White chocolate is okay, and dark and bittersweet I only use for baking. I also like chocolate with things in it (except for raisins/liquor/green tea/lavender/mint) or Hershey's. The chocolate I love most is milk chocolate with sea salt and pretzels covered with chocolate - yumm! And milk chocolate with orange. Or peanut butter... Mmmmm mmmm
Beverages: Please don't send me teas. I do like coffees and hot chocolate powders though. And I also like those little alcoholic bottles :)
UK foods: Terry's Chocolate Orange, Revels, McVitie’s biscuits (especially milk chocolate covered Digestives), custard powder.
Canadian food: soft maple sugar candy
US foods: Reese's, Archer Farms organic products. And I would love to try Wonka Nerds candy, Wonka Tinglerz, Mother's Cookies (those pink circus animal cookies)

• I am usually up for private swaps. I will only participate in those and in my group swaps for the near future [UPDATE: I will be away during later November so will reduce my swaping activities this month].
