Hi all my name is Kim.. I have been married to my Dh for 19 years this year. Between us we have 4 children all grown and on their own.. We have 7 grandchildern.. 5 boys and 2 girls. They are the joy in my life...

I love to sew, decorate, antiques, garage saleing.. I love to try to make junk into something useful..

I collect Calico Fruit pottery by Universal Pottery, quilts, primitve items, crocks, bowls, Fabric.

Favorite Music

Right now I'm really into listening to Top 40. I love Corinna Bailey Rae and Colby Kialie (sp) and Rob Thomas etc. Don't ask because I was avid country music fan and now I only listen to it when I'm in the pickup with my husband.

Favorite Movies

I love the Notebook my favorite love story... My favorite comedy is Life with Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence Funny Show.

Favorite Television

Hands down Grey's Anatomy and Ugly Betty... I also love Hgtv's If Walls Could Talk.. And Clean House on Style...

Favorite Crafts

Sewing, Doll making, Love making Raggadys, Anything primitive. Altering Sewing machine drawers into works of art.

Likes: Antiques, Primitives, Homespun fabric or reproduction fabric... don't like polyester at all. Tarts and Candles, Bowls wooden or ceramic, Room Sprays, Bakery Scents, vintage linens,doilies,pillow cases with fancy edges, rick rack, old sewing notions, embroidery floss,Buttons,Lace, I love Americana things... Comment: Thanks for taking the time to read my profile. Punch needle is actually different from needle felting, but I do appreciate your making the effort to send something profile specific, and who knows, maybe I'll just have to try needle felting now (does it have to be done with wool, I wonder, or are other types of felt OK?) ;)
Response: I think you can use regular felt as well as wool felt. I used it to punch doll hair into my dolls and found that it just wasnt' what I wanted. I honestly thought they were the same thing just with different threads..
