About Me

Hello! I've been familiar with snailmail swapping for quite sometime, but I'm surprised I haven't stumbled upon this site before! I hope to have many a great swaps this new year :) A little about me: I live in Orange County, Southern California (if you tried to guess, I'm Vietnamese-American). I like stickers, stationary and cute stuff as well as drawings, doodles and art. Along with postcrossing, I like to swap FBs, slams, stationary and candy.

But what I want most at the moment is Valentines Day and Chinese New Year related stuff.

Favorites

By order of preference first, hehe.

Crafts: Origami! Friendship bracelets,icing & baking, then anything else you'd like to introduce me to!

Music: Rock, then everything else :)

Books: Children's Picture Books, manga, fantasy, mystery, sci-fi. I don't list individual ones because I'd explode trying to choose.

Movies: same types as Books ^^'

Television: the Discovery Channel and the Food Channel. House, Scrubs, CSI, Law & Order: SVU. Oldschool cartoons ie Tom & Jerry, Scooby Doo, Wallace and Gromet, Gumby

Color: Purple, blue, red, green, orange. Combinations in good taste (I like soft/neutral over bold palettes).

TYPES of stationary: (all smaller than A4) kawaii*, decorated with characters (stuff children would like), elegant & borders, flowers, seasons & holidays, anything but plain ones~

Postcards: beautiful viewcards :D. No limits on this! I love all postcards :) Stamped and written though please.

Candy: Chocolates! Hard candy, fruit chews, chewy candy. NOT sour or spicy please ^^

*stickers > deco tape> lettersets > memos > mini-memos > pens, pencils, erasers
loose stuff > full pads/sacks
Kamio > Q-lia > Crux > San-x > Orange Story > Sanrio > Pool Cool

Since I didn't emphasize, I like drawing. I VistaPrint seasonal and holiday postcards, include them in packages and doodle on whatever stationary/note I'd send to you. Just to let you know.

Don't want

There are few things that ever make this list (compared to what I open-heartedly accept) :P

  • High School Musical and the Disney Channel shows
  • Recent Lisa Frank and such like art
  • Alphabet stickers
  • NICKELODEON
  • Cartoon Network (except for the older shows: Ed, Edd and Eddy, Dextor's Laboratory, Courage the Cowardly Dog etc)
  • Body and Bath Items
