I am a married lady in Alabama with four little dogs and a handmade pond with goldfish--I belong to several groups with various types of crafts -- I was a police dispatcher but now I work for a tax prep company -- I love doing crafty things, enjoy getting to know other crafty people, enjoy reading blogs of crafty people. There are so many great people out there!!! I don't do much with the xanga any more--but it is there.
I love paper crafts!!! It was here at swap-bot that I discovered handmade notecards, envelopes, postcards and ATCs. I have albums where I keep all the great postcards and ATCs I have received in swaps. Seeing the artistic creations of others encourages me to expand my own endeavors!!! I love rating 5 plus a heart!!!
By the way, my picture IS the north pier lighthouse at St. Joseph, Michigan. I grew up near there. The area of the north pier lighthouse and Jean Klock Beach to the north of the St. Joe River and the south pier and Silver Beach to the south of the river--that is my favorite spot to be in the entire world!!! (Year round!!!) But, I moved to Alabama when I became an adult and the older I get, the more sure I am that I could not live up there again!! Alabama winters are as cold as I can handle!!
I love all colors--pale, bright, even black and white!! Number one AQUA.
Enjoy lots of music variety. Rap is not music. HipHop is. R and B is. Andrea Bochelli is. Enya is. Pink Floyd is.
I read alot. Love Anne Rice (everything--including those books under her pen names). Enjoy Dean Koontz, Andrew Greeley and Lawrence Sanders. Lots of non-fiction as well.
Favorite movies include Ghost, Sweet November and all Indiana Jones.
Favorite TV shows are all CSI, All My Children, lots of PBS and The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson.
I believe in fairies and brake for yard sales!!

Hi there! I read your comment to sleepyside, about the "Where are you from?" Bookmark, and I liked the story that you've shared, especially the part when you mentioned that your husband is going to take the letter to his dad, who spent some time in my country.
To refresh your memory, I copied your comment to sleepyside: Hello, again!! I know we have been swap partners before, although I do not recall which swap. I received your lovely bookmarks, the fantastic map and the so gracious letter from you today. Thank you so very much!!!! I wish I could say that I could visit your country some day, but, since I rarely get more than 50 miles from home..... My hubby is going to take your letter and all with him when he visits his dad next week. His dad spent quite some time in your country during WWII and really loved it. He is a bit of a writer and has done some short stories about the islands and the people. He says, some of the most beautiful people in the world. We know he will get alot of joy from seeing what you sent. Again, thanks!!!
My daughter somehow loves Veterans. If you had or someone from your household visit your father-in-law, please send our good wishes to him, and say "Kamusta na po kayo?" (I just hope that he still knows what it means) or "Mabuhay!" or "Maraming Salamat Po". It would be also great if perhaps, we can get his/your address and maybe send him a letter or postcard.
Thank you for your time reading this.
Have a great day.
Hi~ a rather large sized shakespeare envie is headed your way. Please let me know when you get it. Thank you:-)
