I’ve been an artist my entire life. I graduated college in 1980. I always have an ongoing art or craft project in progress & hand-make many gifts. I owe my creative abilities to my mom & grandmother. Mom loved of ceramics & grandma taught me all the traditional crafts like crochet, knitting & embroidery. I grew up in NY & graduated Nanuet High in '76. I moved to Atlanta to attend The American College for Applied Arts. In 80’s, cute handpainted giftware was in fashion; I worked at several gift shops perfecting my unique freehand painting abilities. I also worked for a quilt company as a paste-up artist. Marriage & babies kept me busy in the through 90’s along with work as a retail artist. I still reside in the Atlanta area. My husband, Joe & I have been married for 26 years with 3 kids, Mindy-23,Hanna-18,& Kevin- 16. My creative skills come in very handy with my PTA & service with other community organizations. I currently work at a Supermarket, where I paint signs & create displays and work as the Floral Clerk. I love crafting, illustrating & painting in different styles & media. My creative approach tends to be whimsical, kitschy with everyday themes. Please let me know your comments & critiques.

I love a big variety of music, but my car music is oldies rock and roll. Love Jazz,30's, 40's and 70's Some Favorite Songs: "Girls just want to have fun!","Love Shack", "I want a hippopotamus for Christmas"

My favorite books are about the south or areas that I am familiar with. My favorite author is Nicholas Sparks.I just finished- The Choice, his newest.

I love old style romantic comedies, especially with Rock Hudson, Doris Day, Michael J Fox, etc... Summer Place, Some Like it Hot, GlassBottom Boat, Pillow Talk, Lover Come Back, Man's Favorite Sport,The Wedding Singer, Never Been Kissed, Serendipity, Pretty Woman, Runaway Bride, Notting Hill, Field of Dreams, Almost Famous, Paint Your Wagon, Summer Magic, Little Mermaid, Raiders of the Lost Ark, School of Rock

Right now, I am really into any Law and Order. All enjoy the fun reality shows like What Not to Wear, Big Brother, Project Runway, Survivor, Biggest Loser. Then,- Oprah, Dr Phil, The View,I Dream of Jeanie, Ugly Betty, the Waltons, Mork & Mindy, MAS*H, Barnie Miller, just to name a few!!!

I am a sucker for anything that is pink. I love purple and turquoise too! I am crazy for Polka-dots and paisley pattern. Love Pom-poms and plastic charms in pastel colors. I love ceramic items and vintage & funky purses or sunglasses.I Love My Dressform Maiden, Tilly. Love Cats! I am looking for a Pug puppy that is not pure bread.(Needs to be cheap!) I love showing off my work! I hope to be "discovered"(HA,HA!!)!!!

My husband, Joe and I have been married for 26 years and have 3 kids. Our oldest girl, Mindy just graduated college, lives in Atlanta and works for Cox Communication at the WSB studio building. The middle child, Hanna,is going to Southern Polytech in Marietta for pre-pharmacy. Our Baby, Kevin is a sophomore in High school and is a tennis champ(in our eyes)! We have a great family!Iam so Blessed.

For my job, I am currently working on perfecting my Floral skills. At home I am working on locker Decorating and designing mascots and other school spirit wear.

Can't Live Without...An on going art project, pen & plain paper, air conditioning, Chocolate(Plain & Expensive!), I Love woodland birds~love to hear them when I wake up; have collected quite a few resin bird ornaments and enjoy working with mushroom birds from the craft store.

DISLIKE: Hot weather, coffee with SUGAR, housework,and Menopause!
