Now about me...

I live in Portland, Maine in the United States with my husband, seven year old daughter and a cat.

For those of you sending mail to my daughter, Beate, she loves craft supplies, stickers, anything kawaii, items from other countries and cats. She's not big into most of the popular shows, but does love iCarly. Her favorite colors are pink, yellow and purple. She's pretty happy with any color other than orange, which she really dislikes.

My day job is as a manager at a community radio station. Outside of work and family I try to create art. It is one of my loves as I have a B.A. in visual art.

I'm just teaching myself loom knitting. I was never good a needle knitting - tension issues! Looms seem to be working great for me. I have a small (red) Knifty Knitter and have figured out how to make a few things. Hoping to get some more looms and I really want to get a sock loom.
