Holy moly I haven't been on here in forever. I didn't realize there were 2 outstanding swaps but I will take care of them in the next few days.
I love my family more than anything in the world. I have a son who is amazing, best kid in the world! A great boyfriend who loves me dearly and an extremely cute/happy dog. I work all day at a nine to five job and look forward to my time off. When I can I like to make and collect cute things of all sorts.
I am a terrible writer which leads to choppy about me profiles but I do love making lists for everything.
*I love all things crafty, handmade softies/plush, and zakka! *
I like private swaps with themes :)
Lucky Parcels, if you're interested let me know.
as always I prefer quality over quantity.
I like making packages for people. I don't usually join too many swaps at one time so I can make sure I can put all my efforts into the things I send out. I know some people can work on mulitple swaps at one time and send nice things but this works best for me. If you don't receive a swap from me please let me know as soon as possible. I know what it feels like to be flaked on and I would hate for anyone to have that feeling even for a second because they didn't get my package.
I have a website/blog, sometimes I give stuff away- go check it out if you like http://thefruitysalad.com
---- i put photos up of my swaps on flickr so no peeking if you want it to be a surprise----
I'm not a big music junkie, I will listen to whatever sounds good to me.
Japanese crafting books
I'm looking for more things to download to my nook to read so if you have any suggestions let me know
Any of the Hayao Miyazaki animated films.
Original Starwars, LOTR, Spaceballs, City of God, Garden State
I finally learned how to crochet so I could make Amigurumi critters.
I love making softies/plush things from wool felt, fabric, just about anything I can find.
I've become addicted to making bottle cap pincushions recently as well.
Sewing, baking, embroidery, drawing, painting, photography,
as much I love other peoples papercrafts I am terrible at it and wouldn't have use for the supplies
Cute Bento supplies
Fabric: cute Japanese prints (not regular children's fabric), linen, mohair, 100% wool felt
Handmade: softies/plush, bags/pouches, stamps, wearable mini button pins, bento containers (anysize)
cute Themes, not realistic images: mushroom, pineapple, owls, elephant, hedgehogs, bunnies, Nintendo, gnomes, squirrels
I like cute things, I guess that's Kawaii -like food with faces, milk character, tofu guy, pudding guys, happy go lucky, piggy characters, stuff like that. I'm sorry- I don't know all their names and brands as I am just starting out on the Kawaii adventure.
Decole (anything, any character)
San-X Raccoon Kireizukin Seikatu
Totoro (probably my most favorite character, EVER)
Ugly dolls (the brand, not dolls that are ugly)
cell phone charms
tahki cotton yarn, any color-I can't find it anywhere
Chocolate: does not do well with the heat here and turns into a big mess (same with candles).
Baby/little children related
acrylic felt (like the kind found at Joanns/Michaels)
acrylic yarn ( I prefer cotton)
Butterflies, dragons, fairies, angels, religious
Stuff covered in pet fur or dirt
Anything in color combos, examples but not limted to:
