I live in London UK, with my partner and 9 and 6 year old sons and I love to make things.
My fave colours are red and green. I also like greys, blues and plums. And I am also enjoying orange at the moment.
I love to cook, grow vegetables and blog. I wish I'd didn't have to work then I could do those things all the time.
We have 2 cats called Ginger and Nutmeg who are a big part of our family.
I have been a member of swap-bot since 26 Feb 2007
I would love to receive Martha Stuart Living magazines, new or back copies, so if you would like to swap please let me know.
Having a bath (in something nice) while eating chocolate and reading a magazine (something crafty, trashy or Martha Stuart'ish).
Having a cup of tea and trying out a new (or old) craft.
Recipes and food articles, cooking books, eating and drinking wine.
Vintage/retro kitcheny things; potholders, napkins, coasters, gadgets, tableclothes, aprons, old cookbooks etc. My kitchen is light blue but I love red accessories.
Lip balms.
Hair clips - grown up and girly
Cute notebooks, stationary and things that clutter up your desk.
Legwarmers, gloves and long socks
Cute, Japanese and retro fabrics, ribbons and braids.
Buttons, I'm obsessed and get very excited by them, especially brightly coloured ones.
Real coffee and biscuits.
Craft books and magazines; Japanese, vintage, knitting, sewing, kids crafts, felting or any with lots of different projects and inspiring photos.
Fleece for felting.
I really, really love handmade things, things sewn, knitted, crocheted, glued and patchworked my you :-)
Birds, bees and leaves, oh and trees.
Fav type of Music - Gossip, Gnarls Barkley, Scissor Sisters, Ray Lamontagne, Iggy Pop, Rolling Stones, Travis, indie, rock, funky stuff. Fav Films - Rear Window, Breakfast Club
ER, CSI, Spongebob, My Parents are Aliens, Saturday Kitchen, 30 Rock, Numb3rs.
I love to knit, sew and both wet and needle felting, so I would love to receive any fleece or roving if you happen to have any spare hanging around. I have also just started to use beads to embellish things I've made. I also like to do crafts with my kids.
After reading an interesting article in the Observer Newspaper I will now be sending all non-UK parcels by surface mail, not just to save money but also because of the environmental impact of flying post abroad. If you are sending to me from outside the UK please feel free to send my swaps by surface mail, I don't mind waiting. I will also try and send my swaps early so you aren't waiting around for weeks:-)
