About Me

BritishBirds ✫ ✫ ✫ ✫ ✫ ✫ ✫ ✫ ✫ ✫ ✫ ✫ ✫ ✫ ✫ ✫ ✫ ✫

badge I am thirtysomething, married & have 2 children. I work part time at my local hospital as a Staff Nurse.I live in the South of England.☆ I think I'm quite easy to please & have joined swap bot because I enjoy the giving as much as receiving, If I get something I don't like / can't use I'm a hoarder so I'm sure it will come in useful someday.☆ ❉ ❉ ❉ ❉ ❉ ❉ ❉ ❉ ❉ ❉ ❉ ❉ ❉ ❉ ❉ ❉ ❉ ❉ ❉ ❉

I don't mind if things are second hand as long as they are clean and still useable. I re use all my packaging. I don't mind if things are sent late as long as you let me know. I always rate as soon as I receive.

Favorite Crafts

I love making jewellery & have been collecting beads for nearly 20 years! Beadwork is my main craft at the moment but I've recently been dabbling with a bit of sewing and some papercrafts & polymer clay & Art Clay Silver.

❄ ❄ ❄ ❄ ❄ ❄ ❄ ❄ ❄ ❄ ❄ ❄ ❄ ❄ ❄ ❄ ❄ ❄ ❄ ❄

My favourite colours are purple & green in all shades & brown and teal is a favourite combination but I have no real dislikes except maybe neon oranges & yellows.

Things I use in my crafts;

All kinds of beads but especially Japanese seed beads, Delicas & any size 6,8,11 &15 japanese seeds (not Czech please) silver findings, gemstones with holes, polymer clay, Precious Metal Clay, wire, pearls, antiqued brass & copper findings, buttons, Swarovski crystals,lampworked glass beads, lockets ,KO thread, FireLine, silver charms & broken jewellery to take apart & re use. I love recycling!

☯ ☮ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪

Stickers, fabric especially Liberty or any small prints like stars, hearts spirals,flowers,stripes. Skulls, 4 leaf clovers, Derwent/Cumberland pencils, Staedtler fineliner pens ,any 0.05 fine line pens, any gel pens, sharpies, fountain pens.I love hand made soaps.

My current favourite is sweet ginger peach tea made by Revolution I can't find it any more in the UK.

I could always do with some more recipes to prevent the WTHFDBs (what to have for dinner blues)

I would love to receive some ATC's,Inchies or zentangles, I've just started having a go at some but not quite ready to swap any myself yet! I love getting things by post ✉
