I am an Aussie living on a farm with my partner and two toddlers in Tasmania, Australia.

Things I would love

  • Anything inspired by the book 'The Secret Life of Bees', bees, honey, the black madonna, photos from 1964, maps of South Carolina, anything about the civil rights movement in 1964. I loved the book and cant wait to see the movie. I am particularly drawn to the passion the women in the story have towards life.

  • Some of your art, paintings, scetches, quilts, embroidery, mixed media peices etc, also inchies because I am collecting some for a project.

  • Embroidery stuff, hoops, linen, needles, floss, beads, buttons etc

  • Something cool you found in a thrift shop that I probably wont be able to get in my country (Australia). Things like little jugs, china animals, tea cups, vintage buttons or linen (sheets especially) and old silver cutlery would also be appreciated.

  • Felted sweaters or blankets or peices of any size, or any wool of any kind, yarn or unspun wool or wool fabrics.

All of the beading and embroidery on my Beade Blue Lady DD is amazing - I LOVE her - thank you! (DD - WTA - Sept)
