My name is Maritza. Friends call me Ritz...like the crackers :) I'd describe my style as Californian goth-Victorian romantic girly rocker chic lol. Becoming a makeup artist is on my bucket list. I'm a full-time SAHM and student. I'm working towards a degree in business. I love writing..creative writing. Especially fiction.

My family and I love food. We love all kinds of ethnic foods. There aren't very many varieties of food sold here...everything has been completely Americanized. We'd love anything local to you....sweet or savory.

I love giving and getting handmade and I appreciate all types of humor.

I love any sort of crafting. I also enjoy learning new techniques, especially ones related to painting. I'm not very good at it but I love painting using acrylics on canvas. Its soothing to my soul :) I also enjoy sewing. My MIL has an amazing stash of machines and sergers..I'm just waiting until she kicks the bucket so I can claim them for myself!! I have recently discovered my love for paper crafting and am enjoying making matchboxes, ATCs, and journal pages. And lastly, I dabble in jewelry making especially as gifts. A girl can never have too many earrings!!

ABOUT MY SWAPS
I reuse envelopes so don't worry if you get an envie from me that looks like its been to hell and back. Its only an envie and its my way of being green and saving a few pennies :)

I also reswap items that I have no use for. I will not send garbage to anyone and I also do NOT want to receive garbage. I'm sorry if this bothers you but I think its better than just tossing something out.

I will always send out a swap. I try to get them out extra early just in case. I have 3 kids and I go to school FT so needless to say that shit happens so I try to avoid that by planning ahead. If you do not get your swap from me, please MESSAGE ME FIRST! I will do my best to solve the problem. I also try to post to your profile when I have sent your package just as confirmation to you as well.

I will always rate my swaps received as soon as I have them in my hands. If I expect that there will be a delay, I will post it here on my profile. I will always rate a 5 if you followed swap guidelines.

I love anything by Amy Tan, Edgar Allan Poe, Jane Austen and Shakespeare. I also enjoy a good modern novel, chic lit, or teeny bop book. I really enjoy books about the Nazi regime (i.e. Sarah's Key, The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, Night)

I don't like romance novels, self help books, or sci-fi especially aliens. I read "Every Last One" by Anna Quindlen and hated it.

Stickers...especially Hello Kitty (or any other kawaii related), superheros, robots or skate/surf/etc brands. Please no reward/religious stickers unless they're those multi-colored, foil stars.

Art! All types of art...especially modern art, pop art, tattoo, classics and street/graffiti art. My favorites are Frida Kahlo, Andy Warhol, Ken Bailey and Picasso.

I LOVE gummy candy...ALL types of gummy candy!! Especially sour gummies like Sour Patch Kids Watermelon.

I also looooooooove chocolate!! My very favorite is anything Kinder! I will marry you if you send me some Kinder for real!! Okay maybe not marry but definitely stalk. I also like Milky Way, 3 Musketeers Crisp, Kit Kat and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.

Travel...especially skylines, famous buildings or landmarks. We also enjoy maps especially subway maps NOT postcard maps. I truly heart NYC and I am positive I left my heart there!! I also love things with a Parisian theme.

My youngest's petname is "Moose" so I collect mooses...anything EXCEPT real mooses, mini stuffed/plushies are ok here.

My daughter and I love unique school supplies (pens, pencils, erasers, paper clips, etc) and cutesy stationary sets and memo sheets, preferably with envelopes. Tiny envelopes are great too! Also crayons, markers and colored pencils are always appreciated!

420 related stuff is great!

Socks...everything but toe socks! I wear w womens' US 8/9. The funkier and cuter, the better!! Any length.

Makeup! Eyeliner and shadows are my favorites. Any and all colors but the funkier, the better! I don't care about brand. Nail polish is also awesome..and again...the funkier, the better! My favorite brand is China Glaze.

Miss A, 13 (August 1997), should have been an 80s child. If it has anything to do with 80s, she'll love it especially the fashion! She's a total BOOKWORM!! She reads them sooo fast its hard to keep up with the supply so any books that you think she would enjoy, please send them her way! She's a rather mature reader so classics and "older" novels are ok. She loves neon colors, in her words "things that are weird but cute", kawaii anything and everything, anime, manga, bracelets, Domo, Kit Kats, funky tights and socks, giftcards (to Target, WalMart, Dollar Tree, or Hot Topic), funky hair accessories (bows and big flowers) and art supplies.

Mr E, 4 (May 2006), is a superhero in training! He loves them all and anything to do with them - Spiderman, Batman, Iron Man, Star Wars, Transformers, etc. He's also into dinosaurs, bugs, Dr. Seuss or other rhyme books, science, puzzles, coloring and anything sugary. He just got into Berenstain Bears books too.

Mr M, 21 mos (July 2009), is just a happy, chunky baby. He likes cars, action figures, small stickers of animals and soft balls that will fit in his hand, stuff that makes music or noise, cookies, flavored oatmeal, and Ring Pops.
