I am a recovering academic from Texas living out my happily ever after in Sweden. Besides being a happy wife and mother, I am a haphazard housekeeper and part-time teacher. I am a bookworm and hobby novelist who has been know to write the odd poem when feeling existential. Gardening is a soothing practice I don't do enough, especially since we just got a puppy.

I do lots of crafts including: watercolor, crochet, scrapbooking, altered art, ATCs, journals. Recently I have become very interested in upcycling crafts.

Most anything goes for me since I think it is fun to get something that a swapper likes to make. If I had to choose something that I might not like though, it would be anything too Disney. I like all sorts of colors but am very fond of black and pink together. I am especially into papercrafts and any sort of altered art. I also have a fondness for boxes and little packages of all kinds, such as matchboxes and origami creations. Textiles are also fun and I love anything hand sewn, knitted or crocheted. Last but not least, I am obsessed with words and books, so I have started to collect various sayings and quotes.

Art nouveau glamour like in Agatha Christie's Poirot, ethereal and somewhat gothic figures such as Edward Gorey's illustrations, colorful journaling like Teesha Moore's, and plump people like Botero paints.
