Sharila

Sharila has asked that I let everyone know that she won't be able to send any of her swaps or tags. She has given me her password so that I can look over what she owes and try to help find angels.

If you are owed a swap from her, please contact me so that I can add you to The Swap List. If you prefer to contact me via my account, please put “Sharila: Swap Angel Needed” or “Sharila: Angel Not Needed” in the subject line. Doing so will help me out a lot, and I thank you in advance. :-)

If you are owed a tag from her, please contact me so that I can add you to The Tag List. As I have said above, if you prefer to contact me via my account, please put “Sharila: Tag Angel Needed” or “Sharila: Angel Not Needed” in the subject line so as to avoid confusion. :-) If you would like an angel for a tag, please describe what the tag was for and let me know what your mailing information is, if you are comfortable doing so. I will either let someone who has already contacted me with an offer to angel the tag know the details or post a request in the group that is handling flaked tags (and will only relay your mailing info, if it is given to me, when someone asks for it).

You’re more than welcome to join the Tag Angels group and make your own request, but I would suggest that you wait until I’ve compiled a complete list of tags before doing so since a lot of people are offering to angel tags that I am listing under the “Contacted” headings of “The Tag List”. It would really help reduce confusion if you do this!

I will try to keep people updated on this profile until I've compiled definite lists of what swaps and tags need angels, at which time I'll post those lists to the forums. Even if you don’t want an angel because you don’t feel comfortable asking for one, you’ll be included in the appropriate list so that I don’t end up contacting you repeatedly and transferring my insanity to you by confusing you beyond all belief. ;-)

I apologize for listing everyone that I've contacted and for what purposes “in public,” but Clippy, the normally chipper Microsoft Office Helper, popped up and told me that Excel wasn't built to deal with "this sort of bullshit." I am now boycotting Microsoft because I feel that Clippy was extremely rude and obnoxious towards me and should be forced to receive treatment for his problem via the bottom of my shoe. I encourage everyone else to join me in protest. Together, we can make a stand!

Please excuse any crabbiness, delirium, or insanity that I might exhibit over the course of this endeavor. Calling attention to it might turn me into a moth-eating psycho, and that would really cut down on the giggle factor of watching them run into bug zappers.

July 21st, 2009:

• I've removed @Sharila from all groups that she doesn't owe swaps in or isn't a founder of. I don't feel comfortable reading the forums of groups that I, myself, am not a part of, so I didn't post in any of them before removing her as a member.
• It's gonna take me awhile to clear out these PM's... ye gods! If you PM me on Sharila's account, please don't think I'm ignoring you - I'm just trying to filter through the slush to find the PMs about swaps and tags. Haha, just kidding. They're all about swaps and tags.

July 22nd, 2009:

• I can feel insanity setting in, but I've reduced the number of PM's by half. Please send water, smelling salts, and chocolate.
• The food that I found on the life raft has run out and the stream that used to run behind the makeshift shelter I built out of dental floss and twigs has run dry. I have been unsuccessful in my attempts to hunt with the gum wrapper and rubber band that I discovered in my pocket. I don't know how much longer I will survive, but I am strong and will hold on as long as I possibly can. I miss the possum, skunks, squirrels and raccoons that were so easy to claim under the Tennessee roadkill laws, but the thought of such bounty is causing me to drool and I am loosing precious fluids, so I am forcing myself to think of eating such disgusting things as fillet mignon and lobster in order to stave off the cravings. I must sleep in order to remain hydrated, since the longer I refrain from peeing, the longer I will last. I have realized that my bladder acts as a dam, trapping much needed water in my body. As this makes sense to me, I wonder why has nobody ever thought of it before? When I make it back to civilization, I will write a book about my experience in the wilderness and go on Oprah to advocate urinary abstinence as a survival method. I will now sleep, as tomorrow I must build a latrine using leaves as a spade and it will be a difficult task.
• A bottle of Prozac was washed up onto the shore this afternoon. After taking a dose, I feel that I can carry on, but am also having worrisome fantasies about using my makeshift slingshot on myself. Eek.
• Promoted officers in one group, and someone I'm familiar with in another, to founder status so that join requests and such can be managed in Sharila's absence.

July 23rd, 2009:

• Get to take a break to pick up Mitch because he had a seizure at Wal-Mart. ::sigh:: What a break.
• Vertigo sucks under fluorescent lighting. So does your husband throwing up on you in the car because "your driving really... sucks... blargh!!!!!" Life is pretty much back to normal, now. ::cackles madly::
• Arranged an angel and heard back from some people concerning tags.

July 24th, 2009:

• Starting the process of sorting out swaps while I wait to hear back from people concerning tags.
• Removed @Sharila from a group at the founders request since she's having computer problems.
• Adding a lot of angels to the angel list. Y'all rock for being so helpful!!!
• I will not be checking for flakers in the lists I'm making until I'm done. If I find out that you are partially suspended at that time, I will remove you... and if I know you have been flaking, I'm not bothering to contact you to arrange for an angel. Do it yourself.
• I'M FINISHED WITH THE PM'S! Now I will move on to the swaps and wait for people to respond.

July 26th, 2009:

• Still waiting to hear back from people, but have a huge list of angels and may begin to start pairing them up with people.
• Began to contact swap partners, but most of the remaining ones are partially suspended or have flaked on the same swap. Oy.
• Have contacted partners as much as I'm able to, have gone through all PM's, and am just waiting to hear back from people. Will start to match angels up with swaps and tags for the people that I've heard from.

July 31st, 2009:
