I am pregnant with my first baby! Baby Jack is due 24.04.13 and I am very excited.
I am a 25yr old girl from the sunny Gold Coast on the East coast of Australia. I live with my partner Steve, two cats (Kink and Dexter) and one dog (Razzle Dazzle).
I love it here on swap-bot and feel like it is my second home.
NB: My spelling is atrocious, please don't hold it against me.
Crochet
I love making amigurumi and larger crochet toys. They sit on my desk at work which now looks more like a toy store than a work space.
Sewing
I've recently started sewing crafts. I've been trying my hand at embroidery and felt Christmas decorations. As my ability with this is rather basic I am calling my style 'primary school chic'. Hopefully my skills will improve in time for Christmas.

The ultimate adult's pop-up book
"Guess how much I love you" - Sam McBratney
I don't think a book could be sweeter
"The Giving Tree" - Shel Silverstein
I think it is impossible for anyone to read this book without smiling
"Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" - Lewis Carroll and "The Annotated Alice" - Martin Gardner
Carroll creates the wonderland and Gardner explains the science and ideas behind it
"The BFG" - Roald Dahl
I still think of hankies as snot rags :)
"The Iron Giant" - Ted Hughes
The image of the giant walking out of the ocean will be imprinted on my mind forever

Hey there, this is for the TBA tag game. :) I just saw ur amigurumis. Heck, I tried to make one years ago and it looked pretty wild. I guess it ruined my self confidence and I never went back to it. I'd so love to make an owl and a parakeet.... Well, maybe that's something to go back to eventually... Yours look amazing. So straight and neat. :)
O hope you're having a great day and your little one is not torturing you too much. I believe they can be hell even if they're still inside you. ;) But it won't be too bad once he's out. Well, I don't have kids, but used to work in a daycare... in the infant room. So I had 10 at a time and they can be awfully cute.
