I am 40 years old, married for 10 years with four step kids. We live in Canton, MI in a 1953 ranch house that we are trying to decorate retro modern. (I say trying because everything I like is very very expensive!)

I love creating paper crafts, cooking, baking and gardening. I love sharing & finding new ideas with my friends. I'm addicted to surfing the web to find new "things". I can spend HOURS and can "find" just about anything.

My crafting & gardening style is earthy, simple, and random. I'm a rule follower - but not when it comes to crafting, cooking or gardening, I'll try anything.

My favorite color is green - with orange a close second these days.

I scrap with the help and assistance of three cats. I call them my knuckle heads.

I am terrible at making ANYTHING with the color pink in it.

I love anything with birds on it. I have a million bird stamps that I love to use. A lot of my crafting tends to be nature related.

LOVE LOVE LOVE fibers, but could learn how to use them better.

Not a sticker fan. Have them, rarely use them. Will never see me in a sticker swap.

Ribbons and fibers and thread, oh my.
Old magazines and books for scrap.
Nature stamps - floral, bird, leaves, insects, etc...
Spices and herbs.
Cookbooks, magazines, recipes/cards.
Vintage "stuff" - paper, pictures, buttons, stamps, etc...
Boxes and books to alter.
Green, beige, brown, burgandy, copper, sepia, mustard, eggplant "stuff".
Fabric flowers.
Non-chocolate candy (except chocolate minty things).
Any artwork with a bird on it.
Kitchy 50's stuff I can use in my kitchen (which is green, yellow and cherry red). Prisma color pencils Glitter pens Sharpies Plain colored note cards and envelopes Cat toys (for my 3 knuckleheads)

Stickers, beads, brads, or eyelets; Character things (Pooh, Hello Kitty, etc...); Post-it or note pads (have a ton of these!); Soaps or candles; Tea;

I can't sew. Not even a button. Trust me on this, I've tried. It's just not my cup of tea. But ironically I have fallen in love with dotee dolls. I've never made one, nor do I think I could. I received my first ever Dotee a couple of weeks ago and have decided I'd love to collect them. If you make dotee's and are interested in doing a private swap - I can offer: Handmade Cards, ATC's, Matchboxes, or Lucky Parcels. I'd love to swap my talents for yours.
