In case you're wondering why I'm not signed up for much right now, I will be taking a short break from swaps during the rest of November & most of the month of December due to vacation & holidays. I may be offline Dec 5-15 but will continue to rate any swaps I get and respond to any messages as soon as I can! Already looking forward to swapping again after Christmas!

Reading is one of my favorite things to do ever since I learned how. I love cozy mysteries, especially British ones. Also read some sci-fi, chick-lit & just plain fiction. And I love animal books. I'm not into vampire, horror or paranormal books - that stuff creeps me out! I have an online wishlist I can point you to if you're interested!

I like a lot of different types of music - like classical, piano music of all sorts, Scott Joplin rags, 60's folk music, the Beatles, most rock, pop & jazz, mid-eastern, Spanish, Celtic, new-age, oldies. Not too crazy about rap, hip-hop, opera, heavy metal or country but I try to be open-minded!

I love Mary Poppins and The Sound of Music. My favorite drama of all time is Schindler's List. I'm also a big Disney fan.

I almost hate to admit it but I like a lot of the crazy "reality" shows on now. I watch American Idol and any show with dancing. And this is nerdy but I love game shows. Also watch home/garden/fashion/DIY stuff.

I like to do crafty stuff and make book strings regularly. I sometimes play around with making jewelry. I enjoy making ATCs and appreciate anything I can use to make them. I'd like to try my hand at matchboxes and would like some tips. Another item I'd like to play with are the embossing stamp powders but need some materials and instruction on it.

I work full-time and also volunteer dog-walk at a local animal shelter (I love animals, especially dogs). I try to do some reading, dancing and gardening in my spare time. I also love to travel and wish I had more time and money to see the world. :=D

I love: Food: almost anything but nothing too spicy and please, no raisins. Love most coffees including flavored coffees & cappuccino-type mixes. Love most teas although I prefer black and green teas over herbal. Love fruity teas. Don't like licorice/anise tea or anything heavily cinnamon. I also love hot cider and hot chocolate.

Candy: love anything chocolate. Fond of tropical fruit flavored Lifesavers. Don't care for gummy or sour candies.

Colors: blues and greens

Girly stuff: light flowery scents but nothing too fruity, charm or beaded bracelets, kind of have an obsession with lip gloss. Have pierced ears & like small, delicate-looking earrings.

Playthings: hmmm... like jigsaw puzzles when in the mood, trivia games but can never get anyone to play with me, crossword puzzles, word games.

Other:
Would love to receive glitter gel pens, fancy brads, pertty papers, unusual looking ribbons, embellishments to use on ATCs, stickers, small pieces of fabric, large beads, double-sided craft tape, ATC blanks & backs, address labels.

I like things with flowers and/or dragonflies, garden or nature themes, dog-related items, Disney, dance-related items, handmade bookmarks, fun socks and miniature sizes of things (not dollhouse stuff, just little things).
