About Me

I'm an introverted, very quiet person. Indoorsy, catlover, couch potato. I love whatever I consider beautiful, and I like to be surronded by pretty things.

I like to write letters about books, everyday life, cultural differences and local traditions, my cat, my dolls, anything I'm interested in.

I am obsessed with cats, dolls, whatever series I'm watching at the moment, history of costume, and pretty much everything I've listed in hobbies and interests (read further)

Please don’t send me anything that doesn't fit in an envelope (this is great for those in a budget, like me). Argentina's Customs is a nightmare, and most (if not all) parcels that aren't envelopes are retained. Which means

a) I won't receive it directly at home,

b) the system doesn't have a regard for gifts, so everything is treated as a purchase and lots of taxes are added,

c) there are high chances that I'll have to pick up the parcel at customs, implying 1,5h commuting + at least 3hs waiting there with a ton of other people in my same situation.

So, until things get better, thank you but no, thank you.

If we're partners for a profile related swap, please choose things that can be fitted in an envelope. Otherwise, I won't be able to receive it.

Thank you :)

Comment: It was very interesting to read your list. Thank you for that. Don't worry about the language, I actually speak a little Spanish so it would have been even cooler for me if you wrote it in Spanish. :)

Comment: I'm sorry for rating a few days late here - that was 'my bad' not yours. The story is really taking shape - thanks for adding to it! :)
Comment: Thank you so much for sharing with me. I wish you all the best in accomplishing your goals. You go girl! Hugs, Diane
Comment: You got a packed Jan/Feb! The bones look good, but since you called it a helmet does that just mean it's open eyes/mouth area? Or are you going to make it look like metal?
Response: Thanks! the jackalope's snout protrudes a little like a visor, but other than that, the wearer's face would be visible. The only metallic thing in the helmet is the wire I used to construct the "bones". It will then be covered by layers of foam and papier-mache to close the structure, and, finally, fur, for completion :)

Comment: Thank you for recommending The Masterpiece by Émile Zola, Fiorella! I probably won't ever read it, as it falls pretty far outside of my interest areas, but I am glad you loved it! (Also, I'm always on the lookout for books outside of my reading comfort zones, as who knows what Book Riot's future Read Harder Challenges will be? So I *might* read it someday!) :-) Thank you again for sharing!

ESG: Spread some Art! profile decoration

Hello, how are you? I have so many favorite art works from different periods and different artists. It's really hard for me to choose only one... One of my all time favorites is gorgeous and naughty painting by Jean-Honoré Fragonard. It's called The Swing. I actually ha an honor to see this work few times at Wallace Collection in London. For me it presents the true spirit of Rococo period.

:) enjoy!

(So...I couldn't get the original artwork I wanted to upload to work, so I'm going with Alex Grey's "kissing"...he's another psychedelic artist who I absolutely ADORE! But, you should also check out the art I originally wanted to share. She can be found on Instagram @smallmoon_ and is an amazing young artist whose trippy work gets me right in the feels.)
