MIA... I'm finally back!!! I was in a semi-terrible car accident a few weeks ago, causing my swapping to come to a complete hault. I've been in the hospital recovering...

My husband thougth this to be a great time to "cure" me of my internet addiction (his thougths, not mine) and refused to let me have my computer.

On a good note, that gave me plenty of time to read actual books. LOL

I am so sorry for all of those people I left hanging... I do plan on finishing my swaps asap. I will get all the journals out and the rest of my swaps that I had signed up for. I will not flake on you!!!

Thank you all for keeping the Traveling Journal going... or trying to. I have a bunch of messages to read and repsond to... but until then, I'm sending this message out to all that have contacted me.

I am a stay at home mom of 2 girls, ages 6 and 4. I spend most of my time cleaning my house, that never seems to get clean.

When I'm not being an active MOM, I'm surfing the net, knitting, scrapbooking, making cards, and doing anything crafty and visiting with friends on facebook.

I'm also a proud keeper of 2 Blythe dolls, one American and one European.

I just read the Twilight series and I'm addicted!!!

I've just started reading the Harry Potter books. I'm on the first one now. I've seen all the movies.

My favorite authors are J.D. Salinger and Anita Shreve.

I'm crazy about Brown! I hated the color when I was younger but now I can't get enough.
Brown with pinks, or with blues, or with greens.

I'm also crazy about Orange. I can't explain it. One day I just starting liking it. It's a stange attraction.

My all time favorite color combo is Pink and Green. I've loved these colors together since I was a teen.

Foreign Magazines!!! Especially French ones.

New and unusual candy. I've discovered Strawberry Pockey and love it!

Stationary of all types

Bamboo knitting needles, double point or cable.
I totally love using these. I've just learned to knit in the round and I'm totally addicted.

Natural and/or Organic Yarn. Yummy! Natural fibers! I've just discovered that there are fantastic yarns out in the world. I've been buying yucky yarn from Walmart!

Salt-water Taffy. YUM!

Anything for my Blythe dolls. Clothing, Re-ment, They love shoes, pretty much anything else they can use would be great! They love getting gifts.

Rubber Stamps

Anything that has been crocheted, especially flowers. I can't crochet yet but I'm determined to learn. Until then, I'd like to get things already made.

Handmade Cards

ATC

Postcards w/ messages on them. Prefer to have them mailed and not just included in the package. I like seeing the postage and post marks. My kids love them, too.

Kawaii stuff. too cute! Especially Hello Kitty and any food with faces. Skulls too.

I would like a Bento Box.

I would like a key cap (but not anything american like ninja turtles or other american cartoon characters.)

Assorted buttons

Kinder Eggs. I visited Italy a few years ago and discovered these. I found some that split in 2, with a creamy choc on one side and a toy on the other side. I like these better than the choc egg with the toy inside of the candy.

Pretty much anything!

KAITLYN is 6.
She likes Barbies, Hannah Montana, lip gloss (in tubes), Littlest Pet Shop, Dinosaurs, Bouncy Balls, necklaces, bracelets and pretty much anything that tweens like.

Her favorite bands are Hannah Montana/Miley Cirus, The Jonas Brothers, Rascal Flats, Pop music, Country Music.

Her favorite color is Red.

She is learning how to knit.

She has been taking gymnastic lessons since she was 2 1/2.

Cartoons she likes: Pucca, Scooby Doo, Sponge Bob, and Tom and Jerry.

She likes making ATCs.

BELLA is 4.

Her favorite toys are Littlest Pet Shop, Groovy Girls, Dora the Explorer, My little Pony, Kelly Dolls and anything girlie.

Her favorite foods are pizza and nuts (not together).

She loves dogs and cats (all animals).

Cartoons that she likes: Pucca, Wonder Pets, Dora the Explorer, Scooby Doo, Chicken Little, Olivia and Maggie & The Ferocious Beast.

Polly Pocket. She just discovered these and is crazy about them.

She likes making ATCs.

Lotion. I love it but rarely take the time to use it. Plus, my 3 yr old can find it anywhere in the house and covers herself from head to toe with it.

Anything decorated with food. We have an ant problem. They will eat what ever it is that you send (like the wonderful ATC that I received decorated with dry pasta. The ants loved it very much!) But if it's food for me to eat, that's fine. Just not crafts made with food that I can't eat (but the ants can).

No chocolate in the summer time. It melts! Too bad because I do love chocolate! Chocolate in the Fall and winter is fine.
