my swaps seem to be taking a long time to arrive lately,i always post early so if you don't receive please let me know and i will be happy to re-send

i have always been interested in all types of crafts,used to do a lot of knitting but i injured my thumb a few years ago and find it hard to knit now,i'm completely useless at sewing and don't have the patience for cross stitch,i love rubber stamping and inks and paints and the feel and smell of paper and not afraid to try anything crafty or otherwise,i like to cook but that comes in phases,i'd never make a living at it

i'm married to jim and we have five children,ranging in age from thirty four to thirteen,all but the youngest have now left home.

my favourite reading is ancient history,egyptian,roman and i love to know about all types of religion from a history point of view,

i'm not good with computers,i only know the very basics but i'm trying so please be patient with me,my p.c is very old but i don't need all the latest windows or whatever,it suits my needs so i'm happy enough

i'm not keen on cute or girlie things but i do like elegant things,my favourite is shabby chic and grunge,i distress everything i can get my hands on,much to the distress of my family and friends,lol

my favourite colours are cream,olive,beige,mustard,most blues but not turquoise,moss green,purple,rust,teal,any natural colours,i love altered art and tim holz and anything with a vintage feel to it,although i do sometimes like glitter and foil as long as it isn't over the top but just for highlight,i love diecuts but i have a cricut and am not too impressed,i like my cuttle bug better

family and friends are the most important things in my life but i love people as a whole and usually find the best in everyone if someone is rude then thats their problem,my motto is what you think of me is none of my business,

we have a boxer called poppy,she is a torture,lol,she won't let anyone sit without petting her and when a visitor calls to the house she steals my slipper even if i'm wearing it and gives it to them,i'm trying to teach her some manners but i think i'm losing the battle,

i will always send out my swaps quickly so if you don't receive them please let me know and i will be happy to replace them,i will always rate the same day as i receive and will always answer pms promptly and respectfully
