I am a recent stay at home mom of two wonderfully active little boys (4 & 6). I left a position as an adminstrative assistant with a large corporation a few months ago to spend the summer with my kiddos and amazing hubby. I will return to my real love of teaching when school resumes.

I am a country chic, french country sort of gal. I like the soft muted colors, floral patterns, bead boards and chair railings ... Fav colors are lilac and sage, although I just redid my bedroom in a light steely blue and chocolate! It's sooo pretty!

I love hand-made things and cherish the time one spends on making something so special in todays fast paced environment. I am not too keen on the kawaii scene and have not done ATCs before.

My family will be hosting an exchane student from Thailand this school year which we are extremely excited about!

Scrapping and making cards, close second is sewing (anything from clothes to quilting to stuffies)

I am a die-hard Harry Potter fan ... Yes, I was standing in line at midnight when the last book was released!

I have just began the Work and Glory series ... in the middle of the first book.

Sweet Home Alabama, Ever After, Robin Hood: Prince of Theives, Dirty Dancing

I am also a Reality TV junkie (although I do think some of the shows go a bit too far) I like American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance, Biggest Loser, etc.

I also LOVE Heros ... cant wait until it starts again in Sept!

This little creature will be an addition to my son's bedroom which is decorated in to look like outer space. The ceiling is black fading down onto blue walls. Glow in the dark stars and planets are everywhere. There is a lime green painted alien driving a UFO on the wall. His quilt has vibrant shades of blue, lime green, orange, purple and yellow. So I'm sure whatever color you find would probably work ... monster aliens could look like anyhting, right? :0)
