I'm retired from the US Navy after 20 years of service, and currently a contractor for the government. I started out paper crafting and swapping monthly theme cards, as well as holiday cards, and now recipe cards... always looking for new ideas and ways to share crafting ideas with folks.... and I'm a swap nut, I do swap on three other boards and just love gettting things in the mail other than the monthly bills to pay....

I'm not much of a reader, but do have several favorite books, any and all cookbooks..(lol), and the country sampler...

working the grave yard shift I don't get to the movies that much but when I do I love chic flick movies...

I love spending time outdoors, canoeing, boating, swimming, visiting historical sites, and love to watch and attend Nascar Racing Events: I go to Talladega twice a year and have been to Atlanta and Daytona tracks, my favorite driver is Kasey Kahne..

I love Roosters and antiques! and anything that someone makes is a treasure forever for me.. also love when folks use there imagation on making things that are unique...

I love going to thift shop and finding old items and turn them into new things...

I like just about anything except Lima Beans and cottage cheese. I love trying new recipes. I enjoy cooking all types of dishes, and love to make lots of baked goods especially through the holidays.

I enjoy collecting rustic roosters, Norman Rockwell Plates, postcards, recipes of all kinds, coke cola items, old handkerchiefs, table runners or any type of old linens, notecards (handmade and packaged) and antiques!

I love 3D stickers, embellishments for card marking, rubber stamps and medium and large punches, post cards with the recipes on the front, post cards with state maps pretty papers and ribbons old buttons, and vintage clipart. new or in good shape cook books.

Not much I don't like except have no use for tatoos, skulls and anything like the heavy metal stuff...
