I love crafting!! I enjoy making candles, jewelry, paper crafts, sewing projects, crocheting, gardening, etc... I am on Flickr and Etsy and have a blog I try to keep up with. I can't wait to participate in some swaps!

John Steinbeck is my all time favorite author. I also like to read books that are suspensful and on occasion I have been known to steal my teens books and read them (spiderwick, harry potter, 39 clues, etc...) I know it is silly and way below my reading level, but they are such fun fictional reads and besides I have always thought I was quite immature for my age. :)

I love The Office and Big Love and I am just now starting to get into True Blood. I also just started watching the Lost DVD's in order and am midway through season 2. I would like to catch up so that I can watch the premier of season 6 in 2010.

I also like to watch reruns of Seinfeld and The Sopranos. I am so mad that NBC canceled My Name is Earl and Kath and Kim and put Parks and Recreations in their place. I mean, P.A.R. is alright but it is too much like The Office and only half as funny.

I like a variety of music, primarily rock, hip-hop, bluegrass, and oldies.

However, when I am in my car I don't usually listen to music, I listen to National Public Radio instead. I like to listen to Here and Now, The Story, Wait, Wait don't Tell Me, A Praire Home Compainion, and Talk of the Nation.

I am a wife and mother to 4 children, 3 boys ages 6,11,12 and a daughter age 15. I work full time as a Logistics Manager for a trucking company. I am a total pet person and have 4 canine and 2 feline companions. 3 of the dogs are dachshunds and one is a Chihuahua.

I love to travel but haven't had much of an oppertunity to do too much of it. I've been to Peru where I visited Machu Picchu, and I went on a Caribbean Cruise to Curacao, Aruba, St. Marteen, and St. Thomas. I've also been to Washington D.C. and Las Vegas and of course lots of beautiful places here in Michigan and down in Ohio.

I love handmade items!!!! If I had a preference I would choose handmade over store bought everytime. Favorite items to receive are crocheted items like dishcloths and stuffies, sewn items, paper crafted items, felted items, handmade holiday home decor, etc...
