however, i do not like creed.
I adore thrifting and vintage clothing. I collect postcards (mostly vintage, but I’ll take absolutely anything). I bake, and want to own my own bakery someday. My favorite colors are light purples and aquamarines (teal, turquoise, what have you). I make mix tapes frequently, and would be happy to send you one. I am a vegetarian, and subsist on goldfish, tomato soup, rice, Triscuits, juice, fruit, and vitamin water. I love writing, cynicism, and puns. I write poetry and short fiction. I play piano and banjo (odd combination, to be sure). I am interested in photography, and have done a few photo shoots. Sometimes I send out my own black&white photos as postcards. When I get out of classes, I go to the park to color, but usually I end up smoking too :[ bad habit, I know. My favorite holiday is Halloween, so if you have something spooky and don't know who to send it to, I'm your girl. I am currently suffering from emetophobia and agoraphobia. I do not watch TV often, but am a fan of old Nickelodeon programming. I am quite fond of laughing, and hope to obtain a master’s degree in the science and art of laughter. I like to sew, and while I’m not an expert, I like to collect vintage sewing patterns and try my hand at them. Some are great successes! I paint, draw, and sketch, though not very well, and I am interested in art. I especially like Edward Gorey and Magritte. I analyze and critique films, not for a living (though I think I could), but simply because I enjoy it. I have a large collection of vinyl records and 8-tracks, but I’m always looking for more. I like to go on road trips and have a list of 1001 things I must do before I die. I’m not even a quarter of the way there, and that makes me happy to think about how much more of living life the fullest I have ahead. I do not believe in focusing on one thing at a time. In fact, I find it quite impossible to do, since life doesn't work that way.
far too many, but here's a taste: anna karenina, paper towns, good blonde & others, 1984, great expectations, the curious incident of the dog in the night-time, the power of one, othello (technically a play, but you know), the painted veil, no one belongs here more than you.
hate tv. love movies. though i do like monk, scrubs, and fullmetal alchemist. and futuramaaaaa
the royal tenenbaums, howl's moving castle, stranger than fiction, anything by the marx brothers, or charlie chaplin, wargames, the goonies, the producers (the original, though i like matthew broderick), the princess bride, edward scissorhands, all old disney movies, anything with paul giamatti in it [the man's amazing!], and a hella lot more.
i'm new to this craft-making business, but I like to make mix tapes.... i also love to send out postcards, since they are easy to write on (i have trouble stopping writing when i write letters, and postcards just give me a good stopping place) and i absolutely love the pictures on the face of the card!
a note about swapping: if you have not received a swap in a reasonable amount of time, please contact me before rating! i have never flaked on a swap and would be happy to send again!
If anyone wanted to send me a little something, here's what I'm desperately in the market for:
Bazooka Joe bubblegum comics (for decorating)
candy cigarettes
old, broken pocketwatches
typewriter ink spools
vintage prints (black and white, color, anything!)
super thick yarn(ex. WoolEase) in a cream color

No really, I meant it, I don't want you to feel bad about it. It was so totally not a big deal. I just wanted you to know for future swaps. =) Love the postcard though.

Hi Lola, your photos sound wonderful. I'd like to see some of them. Your comment about your life sounds as crazy as mine, but I wouldn't change it for anything. I especially like the line that your life tends to move faster then you do. That could be me!
Ui, please join the Chibi Senshi Swap Fun! It's simply a great and simple postcard swap! Have a great summer, my dear! xoxo Go.Chan ♥
