I'm a 35 years young and a married career mom to two wonderful teenagers. I started swapping when I was 13 years old. I remember stalking the mailman everyday waiting for those fun envelopes and packages to arrive and being disappointed when a day went by without mail! I think once you become addicted to mail, you can never stop stalking the mailperson!! ( grin )

I am a total 80s hair metal band girl! Motley Crue, Guns N Roses, Vain, Hanoi Rocks to name a few bands I love. Part of the fun of swapping back when I was a teen was the fun address labels we used for our friendship books and slams!! I also love♥ alternative rock like Nine Inch Nails, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots and Red Hot Chili Peppers. My son is actually named Trent after Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails! I do like dance and pop music when it has a good beat and catches my attention...right now I go gaga over Lady Gaga...and I have a secret music stash on my ipod for techno and rave music when running, it is a huge motivator!

Self confessed reality tv show junkie here!! The Amazing Race, Survivor, Big Brother, America's Next Top Model...etc...etc...! I also love true crime shows and any CSI show. I used to love watching this tv show called "Creepy Canada" about haunted sites across Canada but I think they cancelled it - I can't find it anymore. Oh and I have been watching The Young and the Restless for about 22 years now it seems - man that makes me sound old hee hee

I love love love to travel. Luckily, I have the means to take a couple vacations a year. I love photography and am never without my camera - you never know when a kodak moment will arise!

I also love to run- sounds strange to say it but I do! Last year I ran my first half marathon in Las Vegas and cant wait to do it again next year!!

I also play pool (8 ball) and have won three trips with my team to play in the National Championships in Las Vegas. The last few years, I have also taken up golfing. I am slowly getting better but it's definitely a sport testing my patience to learn lol.

I have been lucky enough to have had my scrapbook creations published in magazines and books. I am not new to swapping, just to this site!

My blog will from time to time have photos of swaps i have recently completed so if you are expecting a swap from me you can either get a sneak peek or stay away so you don't spoil the surprise!! ♥

I'll sign up for anything that sounds interesting to me... fb's/ decos, ATC's, altered items, envelopes full of surprises..I am always up for fun and unique swaps. I really do love to alter things - my favourite things to alter are journals. I am a paper freak -- everything paper...address labels, sticky notes, note cards, stationery, postcards...etc...etc...! ♥

Little things that make me smile (other than paper!) include: the colours pink & black together, berry scented anything, lip gloss, blank recipe cards, small funky hair clips (i have short hair so they cant be too big), photography and craft magazines, notecards, alphabet stickers & chipboard, zig markers and anything with dragonflys and lighthouses ~ ♥

I love all and everything made by Tim Holtz and 7Gypsies...I distress ink everything!

I also have a liking for the darker and vintage side of things - corsets, Nightmare Before Christmas, old buildings, vintage items, ephemera, pin-up girls, black lace, tasteful tattoos (i have three) vampires and I love reading true stories about the paranormal.

Dislikes: While I am not too picky, I do have some allergies to strong flower scented items and I am allergic to most animals - needless to say, we don't have any animals. I am not a huge fan of country music and country themes (like cows and roosters) and for the record, I detest cucumbers and pickles (lol) and have the most bizarre food allergy to grapes and fresh water fish - a serious allergy which requires I carry an epi-pen...I am also not a huge cutsy cartoon/disney kind of gal. My children are 14 and 15 so I don't have a need to do the Disney thing anymore. Oh and I don't drink coffee or tea but if I have that rare urge for caffine, I have no problems cracking open a Rock Star Vodka lol.

When it comes to being in the kitchen, I am much more of a baker than a cooker! I love baking the tasty treats and I leave the dinner cooking to my husband ~ hee hee....

If you want to really make me smile, add in a photograph -- i love photos, be it of nature, people, scenery, abstract, anything...i love seeing other peoples photos! And I will always find a use for them somehow..♥ Right now I am working on Alphabet Photography and find it super fascinating!
