I live in Utah with my amazing husband of seven years and our loveable pest of a cat.

I love to create/craft things, read, play computer games and surf the web, and spend time with my hubby. I'm the oldest of six kids, and I have a ton of fun when any or all of them visit, which they often do as we have the biggest house in the family. I'm afraid we make them feel a little too at home!

I tend to put a lot into my swaps. I always check profiles, so I seldom put together swaps until partners are assigned - I like creating things especially for the people they are going to. This doesn't always get me hearts, but I still enjoy doing so.

UPDATE: I lost my job last month (Aug.), so I haven't been doing many swaps. But I still love Swap-Bot and will be doing small, low-cost swaps. If you would like to do a private swap with me for ATCs or smaller sewn or crocheted items, just let me know!

I like a lot of different music. From Journey and Def Leppard, to Evanescence and Linkin Park, and Katy Perry and Lily Allen. I love Ludo and Enigma, and most people haven't even heard of them. I also enjoy Enya and Jim Brickman. Basically I don't like metal, country, or rap, but I'll give most anything else a try!

I LOVE the classics. Shakespeare, Dickens, the Bronte sisters, Sir Conan Doyle, Agatha Christie, and so on and so forth. I loved Grapes of Wrath, but hated Of Mice and Men. A Farewell to Arms is one of my favorites, but I can't stand The Old Man and the Sea.

When it comes to newer works, well, I love them, too. I'm quite fond of Stephen King, though I usually don't go for sci fi. My husband and I love The Lord of the Rings. The Book Thief is great, The Help is great, Fried Green Tomatoes is great, I could go on and on.

It may seem silly, but I love Casper. I'll never be too old for that friendly ghost. The Addams Family and The Others are of a similar theme. I also love Ever After, The Phantom of the Opera, Fried Green Tomatoes, The Lord of the Rings, Back to the Future, Dirty Dancing, Robin Hood (with Kevin Costner, and also the animated Disney one)... And I love Patch Adams, Catch Me If You Can, and just about any other movie with Robin Williams or Leonardo Dicaprio. Robin is a comic genius and Leo is so talented - not to mention adorable.

I've been watching more TV lately. All the girls in my family are nuts over Downton Abbey. I've also been watching Switched At Birth, Drop Dead Diva, and Once Upon A Time. I love comedies, such as Scrubs, How I Met Your Mother, and Big Bang Theory, and I greatly miss Coco (Conan O'Brien) as we don't have TBS. My hubby and I enjoy watching White Collar and Burn Notice together.

I love to sew and crochet, as well as other misc. crafts, and I do so whenever I can. I've worked in bridal before, and I do bridal alterations at home - everything from simple hems to total gown reconstructtion. I usually sew clothing, but I make all sorts of things with crochet. I like to crochet while watching TV with my husband and I can take it with me when we go on trips. A sewing machine, serger, and cutting table are not so portable!

I tend to collect in themes. I love the sky, the moon, stars, and rainbows. I love strawberries and wizards. And I love to collect snowflake ornaments. All snowflakes are unique, so therefore all my ornaments are different. I also have quite an extensive button collection (thanks, Grandma!). And, as a crocheter, I also love yarn - all types.

I've been collecting fabrics for a few quilts I want to eventually make. So I'd love to do swaps for them. These fabrics are: - strawberries - snowflakes - moon/stars/night sky (especially sparkly fabrics).

• jewelry - I prefer silver over gold. My ears are pierced.

• iron-on patches (though I should really figure out what to do with them...)

• cocoa (not fond of any other hot drinks but chocolate cocoa)
• creme savers (I cannot find them anywhere!)
• chocolate, though I'm not fond of plain milk chocolate. I'll take dark chocolate or Reeses any day. =0)

• bugs (except for butterflies)

• tea (I like peppermint ok, but otherwise I just can't seem to get into it)

• sour candy/food
