I'm 59, married 35 years with 2 grown children. I'm a caregiver for my husband who is on kidney dialysis. I mystery shop and do merchandising to supplement our income. I collect anything related to tea - cups, tea balls,infusers,tea,teapots, books. I have always loved cooking.

There are very few kinds of music I don't like.

Favorite Movies

All time favorite would be the Quiet Man (John Wayne). I love anything with Kurt Russell, Johnny Depp.

Favorite Crafts

KNITTING Card Making - This is a new craft for me.

hobbies and interests

I love candles - scented or unscented. Gardening especially with native plants. We have a half acre that we have tried to leave in its natural state. Many different birds and wild animals come to visit. Our yard has been designated as a wildlife habitat. I especially love to see and hear the birds.I enjoy photography - nature mostly. Sunrises are a favorite. I am interested in anything old - antiques, vintage things. I should have been born in another era.

Penpals

I have been penpalling since 12 years of age. I have made some very special, long time friends.

Response: I'm so glad you liked everything. I had fun putting it together. I don't think I told you that I received the towel as a wedding shower gift in 1972.

Response: My husband had a heart attack. He is a kidney dialysis patient. I did send your package and others late. Please post when it is received. I am a faithful swapper but slow at times because of my care giving. If you do not receive the swap, it will be replaced.

Etsy is a selling site similar to EBAY where people can sell their handmade products/art or Vintage supplies. Auctions are .20 each and you get your own 'store' with a url that you pick.

Kawaii - it's just a Japanese term for American word 'Cute'. This could be like retro hello kitty, san-x type stationery, pucca, etc.. Most things Kawaii are Japanese made like Amigurumi(crocheted in the round stuffed toys) or Tawashi(cute crochet scrubbies).

Their is a shop here in San francisco called KawaiiCorner if you'd like to see what types of things people consider Kawaii(cute)
