I am taking a wee break from active swapping over the next few months. I will continue with the two round robin journals that I am involved with. I am fine and healthy but will focussing on setting up a new online business during this time.

I live with my husband M of 2 and a half years and our fur baby koko in New Zealand. I am 40. I work part time in a corporate library and love my job. Prior to my part time job I was a full time student and part way through completing a teaching degree (I took a year out of my degree and deciding I do not want to complete it). By nature I am a glass half full chick.

I love all sorts from Abba to Enya to Metro station, OneRepublic, Gin Wigmore, Tiki Taane, Sara Bareilles, Duffy, Leona Lewis, Nina Simone, The Eagles, Eva Cassidy. Last but not least I also love 80's music as thats what I grew up with.

I enjoyed reading the Twilight series, and loved reading the Southern Vampire series. I also love murder mysteries and thriller books. Some of my fav authors include; James Patterson, Jonathan Kellerman, Terri Gerritson, Lee Child, Lynda Le Plante, Minette Walters, Michael Connelly, JK Rowling and Deborah Challinor to name a few.

I also like to collect childrens picture books from my own childhood e.g. the hungry Catterpillar and Where the Wild Things Are.and NZ Childrens books as well. I also love reading YA (young Adult) books as well.

Love love going to the movies or watching movies at home, my husband and I have about 150 to 200 dvds in our collection and we have a bif of everything from Anne of Green Gables to Usual Suspects to Mamma Mia to Con Air and the Wedding singer.

eeeeks okay so I watch too much TV and I am trying to cut back. Reality TV wise I like Amazing Race- Phil is a kiwi, Survivor, Biggest looser

TV Series wise I liike crime and thriller type shows ( I like trying to work out who did it), e.g. CSI, Law and Order, Criminal Minds, Ghost Whisperer and some kiwi shows to name a few.

Scrapbooking, cardmaking. I have just started making some beaded angels, and making rings and flowers from buttons.

Enjoy playing Buzz and Singstar, being creative. I really like natural products and have been playing with making bath salts with ingredients from the kitchen, and other products like bath bombs, bath milk and sugar scrubs. I am a caffeine addict. We have an espresso machine at home so I can get my daily fix. I like candles and decorating them, love the smell of coconut and vanilla for pampering products.I also love to collect angels, just because they are beautiful. I like the colour pink.

I Likes: Chunky jewellery, uplifting quotes, potato chips, owls, angels, cupcakes, coffee (beans only as our machine as an auto grinder).

I have discovered some magazines that I love and are from the states they include; Martha Stewart Body and Soul magazine ( I would love any preloved issues of these, no more than two years old though please). Real Simple Magazine (again happy for any old back issues that you may have, no older than two years old please).Paper Cloth & Scissors ( happy for preloved back dated issues). From the UK, the sewing magazine "Sew Hip" any preloved versions would be fab.

I use recycled wrappings and envelopes for my swaps. I get my swaps out before the due date. I send my swaps by airmail, which means they will get to you within five to 10 working days.

When I send a swap I also like to leave a message on your profile or pm you to let you know. I live by the motto, of treat people how you would like to be treated.

I rate for my swaps if by some off chance I haven't rated you please let me know and I will rectify that.
