I am not new to SWAPs but new to the computer side of SWAPS.

I am a 43 year old who has been married 20 + years. Saying that it makes me sound older than I feel I am. In some ways I have never grown up, and in others I am as old as Dirt! LOL

I live in Las Vegas for the moment. My father worked for the government and I grew up moving every three years or so, and then after high school I joined the Navy. That is where I met my husband and we continued to move every three years until he retired in 2001.

Places I have lived (pretty much in order)

Casper Wyoming, Montrose Colorado, Ouray Colorado, Delta Colorado, Grand Junction Colorado, Rawlins Wyoming, Susanville California, Apache Junction Arizona, Orlando Florida, Meridian Mississippi, Jacksonville Florida, Oak Harbor Washington, New Orleans Louisiana, San Diego California, New Orleans Louisiana (again!) East Meadow New York, Las Vegas Nevada.

Although my Husband was gone more than he was home in San Diego, I loved it there. We had the most fun in New Orleans (Mardi Gras!) and New York. I would move back to either place in a heart beat.

I love to listen to Bag Pipes and Drums, and I love the old Ballad songs. Favorite artists would include Johnny Cash, Peter Paul and Mary, Simon & Garfunkel, The Beach Boys, Elvis and Three Irish Tenors. I think that the worst is something that I cannot understand the words!

I am not that really handy, although I have great ideas sometimes. I am willing to try most any project once, and I have tried a lot of projects that I am not good at. While my Grandmother lived with me we did tons of stuff (she is legally blind) and we had so much fun, but I can say there were more attempts than complete successes.

I love all kinds of food, and am willing to go and try anything at least once. I am very partial to good food rather than specific cuisines. I love dark Chocolate anything, but other than that… I am very open. I need to work on my veggies and fruits though!

Living in Vegas, one of my favorite hobbies (if you can call it that) is gambling. I like to play interactive penny machines, and they more bonuses the happier I am. I also love to play Bingo. Besides gaming, I enjoy Suduko Puzzles, computer games, my Nintendo DS (Current favorite games are “Cake Mania 2” and “Professor Layton and the Curious Village”).

I love to read, although I do not take or make the time to read as I used to. I do listen to Audio Books during my commute time (the library is such a great resource for that!) As my Grandmother says I will read anything that isn’t nailed down, and that is true, and I will listen to most anything on CD. That being said some of my favorites include the “Mrs. Polifax” series by Dorothy Gilman, “The Cat Who” by Lilian Jackson Braun. I also like Debbie MacComber, Fern Michaels, and Jerry Jenkins. I just started “The Mickey Rawlings” Series by Troy Soos. Although they are based the in Baseball arena, they are quite interesting. I also love comic Books!
