About Me

ATTENTION! If you ever wonder how to write my adress it goes like this:

My name ****

1 square de ****

78150 le ches****

France

(Chances are it would be delivered anyway but it make's it faster that way)

since we all need a filled out profile:

A few facts about me: - I’m a 20 years old girl. - I’m a second year student in an industrial design school, I’d like to graduate in packaging. ° I’m a photographer for a French punk webzine, ( flicker account link somewhere) . ° I have two pet turtles, a pet rat and a field mouse rescued by a friend. ° I’m straight edge so no alcohol please ( like those chocolates filled with liqueur) ° I’m a sweet tooth ° I love everything cute and kawaii but can’t find much around so no kawaii swap for me, which is sad :( ° Same goes for bento box stuff. ° I’m a lot into design, industrial design, packaging and graphic design. ° I like nice graphic flyers if you ever get some to spare. : ) ° I’m only allergic to insect bite, please don’t send me any bee ^^. ° I dream about going to Japan one day and I'm learning japanese. ° I lived in Brazil for 4 years. ° I'm always the one bugging my parents to turn of the light and re-use things, I try to be as green as I can. ° I'm sorry if I ever make any typo or misspeling, it's been a while since I haven't practiced my english. ° I hope to never have a no sent, but shipping time can be tricky since i'm international, so please ask me before rating with a no-sent if I haven't told you it was dropped in the mail. ° I have a tinitus and hyperacousis, tinitus is a buzing sound in my ear but hyperacousis means I hear everything louder and can't stand staying in the street or places that are 'loud' (yet I do fine during shows, who'd know :/). I get a few crisis everynow and then and can't even stand being close to a computer. ° Yet I still occasionaly play Drums (with ear protection of course) ° I'm not an overly girly-girl but still wear some basic, a bit neutral make-up, and some earrings or pendants that would be considered cute or even geeky ° My style would be basic ( jeans and a plain or graphic tee (think threadless kind of graphic )). Van's oldschool shoes and some band's button. I'm more about accesories (button, necklace, nice pen in a nice pencil case, cute stationary..) I guess I'm kinda "indie" actually, ° I love baking, cake, cupcakes, muffins, cinamon sticky rolls, bread, you name it, if it's got sugar or yeast I'm in it ° I like pretty much all colors (exept those a bit 'muddy' ° I don't like religious things, overly girly-pink-things..

Favorite Music

I listen to quite a lot of music, mostly punk, olschool hardcore, indie, ska and some classical.

Favourite bands would be the likes of Bad religion, Jets to brazil, modern life is war, Pedro the lion, Alkaline trio, Brand new, Modest Mouse, streetlight manifesto, big D and the kids table, the Tokyo ska paradise orchestra, against me!, Rival schools ... I get to a lot of shows (whenever I can)

Favorite Books

Favourite books are mostly science fiction and fantasy, I have all of the Discworld novels by Terry Pratchet, most Douglas Adam, H.P.Lovecraft, Jules Verne..

My all time farourite is “The perk of being a wallflower” by Stephen Stephen Chbosky.

and I'm loving those Stephanie Plum novels by Janet Evanovitch.

Favorite Movies

I love animation movies like Wall-e, Toy story and the likes, and I guess comedies and a few ‘indie’ movies ( Half-nelson) when I can get to the movie theatre. And french comedie ones that non-french probably wouldn't reconize.

Favorite Television

Fav one is definitely Grey’s anatomy, followed by CSI las Vegas, House, Mythbuster, my name is Earl, Scrubs… some are discontinued, some haven’t even reached France yet.

Favorite Crafts

I’m mostly into painting, drawing and sewing (stuffies, I would fload my room with them if I could) and a few attempts at other things (carving). I would like to learn how to crochet when I see all those cute arigumi. And notebooks, I had to come up with a few different ones last year for school and it was fun.

Looking for..

A few kawaii goodies, like a few memo sheets, stikers, erasers, cell phone charms or mini plush. I like pretty much all kawaii characters, -Tenorikuma sack-o-stickers is on my special wishlist.

Bento stuff, again, not much, even just one or two of those small bottles and containers for sauce. I usualy keep mine pretty simple but those could comme in handy.

Japanese candy, actually pretty much any candy that I can't find in france, bonus if they have nice packaging. I dream to have one of those Puccho candy in the little round-stacked bottle.

Silly putty, can't get those here, normal or special like color-changing or glittery or whatever, also on my special wish list

Amiguriminimoo (I never get that name straight) or other stuffies.

Cute japanesse fabric, even if, lets say, you have some leftover (5x5inch) and you don't know what to do with them ^^ .

Those Iwako japanese erasers, any one really.

..and will swap for

Anything french I guess, that I can find but you don't. Exept cheese, can't send cheese throught the mail, wouldn't be nice for anybody!

I don't crochet but I do sew so I have a bunch of stuffies, and I also do handmade notebooks and mini notebooks.

I'll consider any private swap anyway so don't hesitate ( If I haven't been on swapbot for a while it doesn't mean I stoped swapping).

I like:

Pirates and ninjas, things geeky and steampunk, (childrens) illustrations, collorfullness, screenprint, charms and trinkets, german 3D grafitti, street art, photography, spaceships , kawaii, robots and rockabilly. Design, graphic design and packaging. Candy and baking. Black and white pictures, 120 format photography(got any unused roll? even pastdue) and 'lomography' type. Rub on letters , polka-dots

tags and flakes ans stuffs

For me to keep track of everything:

I have to send a tag to: Hidnomen I'm waiting on tags from: LeeLee I've been flaked by: craftyarmywife (amigurumi - happy poo - not angeled)

Comment: Oh! It was so beautiful! Thank you for resending it. I love Versailles. My favorite spot was Bosquet des bains d'Apollon. I could have stayed there forever, but some school children started asking me questions to laugh at my Americanized French! LOL.
Response: Glad it finally went through ok this time!
