I am a stay-at-home mom with a baby girl and two teenagers. I spend most of my time writing, doing crafts and playing on the Internet. I also enjoy gardening and geocaching with my husband. I play the flute.

I like country music and Christian music. I also like pop music from the 80s and 90s. I like some oldies too, as well as classical music.

My favorite books are fantasy novels: Harry Potter, The Hobbit, Twilight, etc. I also love craft books and magazines. I read a lot of Christian books as well, such as books by Beth Moore, Stormie Omartian and Joyce Meyer.

My favorite movies are Twister, Assassins, Finding Nemo, The Lord of the Rings (all three), the Harry Potter movies and Monsters Inc. I love action movies and science fiction. I also love comedies.

Baby Julie loves anything that has a lot of music, like Disney sing-alongs and Baby Genius. She doesn't care much for movies that don't have music. We could use another copy of Mary Poppins if you have it lying around and don't watch it anymore. We wore ours out. lol

I love Charmed, Grey's Anatomy, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Gilmore Girls and Stargate.

I'm crazy about crafts! I love knitting, crochet, beading and quilting the most. I am also into plastic canvas, cross stitch and painting on rocks. I love to play with fabric and yarn. I love beads and wire. I love playing with colors. I enjoy painting but I don't think I'm very good at it. I love crayons, markers, pencils, pens, anything you can write or draw with. I love paper, all kinds of paper. I love scrapbooking paper, wrapping paper, even plain old copy paper.

My favorite stores are the big craft supply superstores. I love all kinds of craft supplies. My favorite Christmas gift last year was a big jar of used buttons -- lovely! I love all kinds of books too. I love going to Borders or Barnes & Noble or Books-a-Million just to be surrounded by thousands of wonderful books. I love office supplies too. I guess it's the writer in me.

Favorite colors - Bright colors (like jewel tones - royal blue, purple, emerald green) and pastels. I also like neon colors. I'm not a big fan of yellows, browns or earth tones.

Buttons, especially fancy ones. I use plain ones too though. I have lots of white - how about some colors?

Sea glass, all colors. I wish I lived near the beach!

Scrapbooking paper -- I'm not into scrapbooking but I've started doing some paper crafts lately and my collection of cool papers is sorely lacking.

Stickers

Candles, especially food-scented (vanilla, cinnamon, etc.)

Craft Books & Patterns - I love to look at the pictures and fantasize about making all the projects even though I already have so many patterns I'll never have time to do them all.

Craft Supplies (any) - plastic canvas, cross-stitch fabric, embroidery floss, anything.

Art Supplies - paints, crayons, markers, paint, colored pencils, drawing paper, you name it!

Office Supplies - paper clips, staples, pens, pencils, paper, etc.

Baby food containers, glass or plastic, to store my beads in.

Jewelry findings.

Old magazines. I cut them up and use them for various projects, depending on what pictures are in them.

Seed catalogs with full-color flower pictures! :)

Books - I love to read. I especially love craft books, Christian books, sci-fi and fantasy novels.

Handmade Items - I would love to receive your handmade items. I especially love handmade jewelry, tote bags, purses, handmade books and scented candles. I love ATCs and Dotee dolls.

Snacks - Mountain Dew, Sugar-free gum, Chocolate. My favorite candy bars are Rolo, Twix, Milky Way, & Hershey's Cookies & Cream. I love gummi bears and Pringles, especially Sour Cream & Onion. If you are sending food, keep in mind that it gets very hot in Mississippi in the summertime.

My husband's name is David. He likes fishing and karate. He is interested in model trains but has never actually built any; he just buys the magazines now and then. He is going to school to become a chef and would appreciate any recipe books or magazines. He already subscribes to Gourmet and Bon Appetit, though, so not those. He is diabetic, so please don't send candy unless it is sugar-free. A collection of sugar-free or diabetic recipes would be wonderful. He is really, really into geocaching. He loves baseball caps with fishing designs and of course fishing lures are always welcome.

My oldest daughter, Melissa, is 16. She dresses like a girl but hangs out with the boys. She's in auto mechanics and plans to go to a technical school after high school to continue that pursuit. She is very short, very pretty and a lot of fun. Her ears are pierced, and one is pierced two extra times. She has her belly button pierced. She loves dark fairies.

My son, Josh, is 15. He loves video games, especially Xbox. He also loves to play football and basketball. He likes to go roller skating, but mostly because there is a certain girl who likes to go with him.

My baby girl, Julia (Julie), was born March 20th, 2009. She is six months right now and wearing nine months clothes but they are getting tight. We welcome hand-me-downs, but if you want to send baby clothes, please make sure they are 12 months or larger so she will be able to wear them. No long sleeves please -- we live in Mississippi! Even in the winter, it's not that cold. She loves brightly colored toys. Her favorite is a multi-colored stuffed animal (Love Bug) that has hot pink, neon green and yellow in it. She loves VHS tapes and DVDs that have music in them, like Disney sing-alongs and Baby Einstein.

We LOVE thrift stores and garage sales!! I welcome second-hand items in good condition.
