About Me

I am a Christian wife and mother to a daughter age 26 & son age 23. I work part time at Whistle Stop quilt shop that was featured in the 2007 April issue of Quilt Sampler showcasing top ten quilt shops. I love to quilt, crochet, make fabric postcards, bead, & plastic canvas. My favorite colors are blue, green, grape purple, dark reds-jewel tone colors. Although I was born in August & my birthstone is peridot, I love the blue topaz of December. I love the blue/green combination. I love to crochet & am looking for neat patterns to make for swaps. I love working with cotton yarns & threads.

Comment: Hello Julie, I just love the postcard you made for this swap. I just love the fabric you found with zig-zags. I love ha ow you then attached the fabric to the postcard with a zig-zag stitch--very creative. It is a great addition to my A-Z postcard collection and especially to the end of the collection.
