Please rate me as soon as you receive your postcard so I know it arrived. Thanks! BUT CONTACT ME IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE SOMETHING!!! Please remember to include the swap name and your username/real name so I can register your postcard and rate you! I rate on the same day it arrives. I am in a lot of postcard swaps on the internet, so it would save me some time if you could write who you are, name of swap, and maybe write Swap-bot on it. Thank you!
Please no handmade or free/ad postcards, thanks!
I like my postcards written on and stamped. :) I love nice stamps! Please use interesting stamps if you live outside of the USA, thanks!
Only send store bought postcards to me, please, store bought is what I will send due to lack of artistic talent.
I LOVE POSTCARDS OF A BUILDING OR A MAP POSTCARD! :)

My Favorite Postcards are: single view building postcards (church, museum, house, capitol, mansion, skyscraper, etc), map postcards, but if you don't have that any store bought postcard is fine to send. But I join up a lot of different swaps that have nothing to do with my favorites, so send what is required for the swap (like if I am in a scenic postcard swap, send a scenic postcard).

Stamps, Postcrossing, travel, and of course POSTCARDS!

My username on the Postcrossing forums is Mount_Rushmore My official profile name is Lake I previously deleted my old Postcrossing account, so I just have the Lake account.
How many postcards have I sent or received? Thousands! It is a really fun hobby. I've sent postcards to basically every country in the world except for some countries in Africa, and if I find someone to swap postcards with there, I will. :)
I am 39 years old living in Rapid City, South Dakota. South Dakota is a state where not too many people live in. Rapid City is the second largest city in South Dakota with only 70,000 people living in the city. The biggest is Sioux Falls, with about 200,000 people living there. There are several Indian Reservations in the state, I live near Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. That is the Oglala Lakota Sioux reservation. I live with an elderly man who is full-blood Oglala Lakota Sioux. I understand some Lakota language, due to living with him. I wear eyeglasses, but need a new ones soon (edit- I just bought a new pair). My eyesight is not very good. I am very shy mostly. I wish I was a farmer and have land, but I am living in an apartment. The rent keeps going up, though. I love raccoons, and think they are the smartest and cutest animals. I wish I had money to travel, but I am basically broke all of the time now. I need a haircut, but I hate going to the beauty salon. (edit - I got a haircut recently) Maybe one day I'll go.. keep putting it off. I also need new sneakers. I miss the 1970's/early 1980's, things sure have changed since then. I have a cell phone but rarely use it, I just get annoyed by it because calls always come at the wrong time it seems, like when I am eating or sleeping, so I just turn it off.
Hello, I also love (and miss) 1970's era motel/hotel postcards of the motel building. I remember growing up in the 1970's and seeing postcards in the room along with some hotel stationary. I don't really have many 1970's era motel/hotel postcards, but if you have some I'd love to get one! I'd really really love a Howard Johnson restaurant and motel postcard, as I ate there and stayed there a lot in the 1970's.
I would love a map postcard of these states: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota (I've never had someone else send me one from my home state), Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Wyoming
Of course if you have a state that is not on this list, I'll be happy with the postcard, this is just for in case you have any of these in your stash, otherwise I'll be happy to receive any map postcard!
I have some of the same postcard of these map postcards, so if you can help it don't send to me:
Virginia - white color with a red border around it
Washington - greetings from the state of Washington with a blue border around it
I like my postcards sent like I like my men.. NAKED! Which means written on and stamped, no envelope. It is confusing, if I ever have a new man in my life and if he asks me to get naked, I will think he his going to write on me and place stamps on me and put me in the mailbox.
