I am "mom" to 8-yo GD Alexis. I am also the Library Aide at our local Junior High school.

I love paper crafts and altered art. I make hand-made journals, altered art (I alter almost anything), handmade cards, scrapbooking, handmade journals, postcards. ... well, you get the idea! I never throw away anything that I think I might use in art some day ... is there a 12-step for me?

I love soft, earthy and sea/ocean colors. I really dislike bright or neon colors.

I love vintage stuff! I also love antiques and collect depression glass and vintage linens. I love browsing thrift shops and yard sales. I collect vintage glass and vintage hankies. I love to use them, not just display them.

I like vintage and Victorian items and themes. I love the old fashioned greeting cards!

I dislike "cutesy", such as Disney or other character art (except Hello Kitty - Alexis loves her!). No stickers please, unless they are HK for Alexis.

Books: I love to read! I esp. like: Historical Fiction and Nonfiction, autobiography, biography. No politics. No romance novels.

TV: Top Chef. Antiques Roadshow. Tudors.
