I am a working mother of two, one eight year old creative boy and one six year old fashionista beautiful girl. I have a wonderful husband (as of March 13, 2010) that totally gets me and we have this wonderful comfort with each other that is hard to describe. He's a border patrol agent and I'm a radiology, CT tech at the little hospital here in Del Rio, Texas.

I love all kinds of music. I love Kesha, Avril Lavigne, Breaking Benjamin, Carrie Underwood, Fall Out Boy, Gabriella Cilmi, Kate Nash, Kelli Pickler, The Killers, Lady Gaga, Lady Sovereign, Lenka, Linkin Park, Madonna, Maroon 5, Rhianna, Miranda Cosgrove, Nickelback, Kid Rock, Panic! At the Disco, Paramore, Rob Thomas, Shinedown, Superchick, Taylor Swift, Tori Amos, Vanessa Hudgens, 3 Doors Down, The White Stripes and so so much more. (Yes I have a 6 year old which explains some of the disney singers :)

My favorite thing to do is read a book. And I've been given a hard time before because most of the time I read more than one book at a time. It's like picking up a conversation with a friend days later and I still remember what we were talking about. And I really get moody about the last 20 pages or so of a really great book. It's like losing a new best friend.

I love historical romance, fantasy, paranormal, Twilight series, Sookie Stackhouse series, Wizards first Rule, Jodi Picoult books, Harry Potter, Eragon, I guess I like series' because it takes longer to lose that best friend :) Christian fiction (Francine Rivers is great), general modern romances, and historical romances, and soo much more. I'm not really into non-fiction unless it pertains to art, photography, or running.

I love movies, it's like stepping into another life for a while and it stimulates my imagination and art. My movie I watch when I want to feel cozy is "Little Women". I love "P.S. I Love You". The first 10 to 15 minutes is the best, the arguement is perfect. Like real life, the girl just wants to be mad and the guy has no clue what it's about and it shows how madly they love each other anyways. I love watching movies about people doing mundane things and showing how weird we all can get. "Grandma's Boy" is one of my faves. Any good story. War movies, westerns, religious, romance, sci-fi. Stoner movies. Whatever.

My fiance and I are watching whole seasons of "True Blood", "Dexter", "Sanctuary", "Being Human", "Sons of Anarchy" I need to get the BBC channel. A lot of shows I want to watch are on there.

I like "Greys Anatomy", "Raising Hope", "Nurse Jackie", "Mercy", "Modern Family", "In the Middle", "Flash Forward", "Cougar Town","V", "Human Target", "Covert Affairs" and "Big Love"

I love painting, I mostly have used acryllics and accidently used oils one day and was blown away by how well it blended. I love crochet and I've been making lots of scarfs :) for all my friends. It gives me something to do with my hands while I'm watching movie or TV shows. I really seem to be much more inspired by doing art for other people rather than myself, so Swap-Bot has become quite neccessary in my life. I love the mixed media idea and a friend is introducing me to using household items in art and how it really adds depth. Used dryer sheets....who knew :)

I would love if anyone wants to take me under their wing and teach me something new. I want to learn anything I can and explore new ways of using things. I chose not to go to art college because I really didn't do well with criticism of my art. (Crazy Idea, I really should have gone) I really put alot of myself into it and used to take it really hard. As I've grown, I've realized that art is different to everyone and not everyone has to love what I do (my mom is my biggest fan). So, teaching me how to improve things that I already do is something I am completely open to and would love.

Crosses, Anything Celtic, Mother and Child Art (one of Picasso's is my fave), Hearts, Flowers, Fairies, Ghosts, Paranormal, Witches, Wizards, Elves, Vampires (romantic), Inspirational quotes, I like birds, they make me think of freedom. I've decided I love vibrant aqua or carribean blue, magenta, canary yellow and rich green anything. Pinks, red, purple. Really any color. I'm also drawn to medium to dark grey. I love yarn, especially the fuzzy or different ones,I also love the really thin super colorful ones now that I am learning how to crochet into flowers for embellishments. I love journals, Jewelry of all types, interesting purses, interesting photographs.
