I've been a quilter for about 30 yrs. I live my own home in a small town. My house pic/7681)is full, my 2 grown sons ,a grouchy white cat, 2 dogs and a love bird all live with me. I got into paper arts by accident. I' a letter carrier and a scrapbooking store opened on my route. They encouraged me to get into minibooks, atc's and rubberstamping. My sewing room is really crowded now!! When I'm not quilting, crafting or maintaining my home and garden I love to travel, ride my motorcycle, or spend the day paddling up one of the local rivers in a kyak.
I love getting envies with commerative stamps and a personal note, really makes the swap more fun.
I love old time rock and roll and blues.
From Dusk till dawn, anything with Arnie, and sci fi
Quilting, minibooks, altered books, rubber stamping, ATC's and Swapping
I love motorcycles, quilting, dogs, waterfalls and rivers. I'd love to receive postcards with a "sewing" theme. I'm sure there aren't too many of those out there, but if you come across one I'd like to have it.
I don't like Christian themes or violence, not into "cute"
I really like tourist postcards and anything with a railroad theme. My great grandfather was an engineer on a train and I recently inherited his PC collection. I'd like to add to it.
Received on 7/17/11 - handmade postcard signed Mel - stegotastic - Sorry you forgot the swap name and I've looked thru a bunch of swaps and cannot find you. Let me kn ow which swap this was for so I can rate you. BTY I love the card!!
I am without internet access at home right now so I won't be swapping much for awhile.

Thanks for joining us...Hope you enjoy the group
I'm glad you received (and liked!) the letter and ATC. And thanks for the heart. :)
I think it's awesome that you're in a quilting guild. My mom has been a part of a local weaver's guild for as long as I can remember, and she loves it.
Your welcome, I started yesterday. Today I used the vaseline and re-painted, I'm afraid I was impatient and tried to wipe off the 2nd coat b4 it was dry!! Oh well, live and learn. Good thing I made some extras! Cindy
Thanks for joining my peeled paint swap!
