Hi my name is Joanne

tulip I am 58 years old and have two children.I was born and raised in NYC, moved to Massachusetts where I lived for many years. Presently I live in Connecticut near my two adult Children.

I was diagnosed in 2001 with early onset Parkinson's Disease. It has slowed me down but I refuse to let it stop me from the things I love doing. I survived a divorce after a 35yr marriage. I have a very special person in my life who also has Parkinsons. We met in a support group. He has three adorable grandchildren we love to spoil. I want to mention that a special swap buddy sent me an ATC of tulips which I now use as my profile icon. Thank you Pat for your kindness.

Favorite Music

dance

Easy Listening, classic rock, just about anything but twangy country * don't mind the new country. I don't like rap music.

Favorite Television

My favorite tv shows are American Idol, 2 and a half men, Everyone Loves Raymond, anything on the discovery channel.

Favorite Crafts

ATC I AM ADDICTED. I knit and crochet and I love to watercolor. I think I have tried just about every craft I could.I crochet and knit and started quilting last year.

My home

My colors are: Kitchen burgandy,country blue and tan Livingroom: light pink, rose and forest green bath:aqua and white

My home is done in french country, I like simple pretty thinks nothing fancy,

I love anything vintage, makes me feel like a kid again. I collect Fiestaware in any color.

I really love

anything that sparkles. Candles, coffee, tea, dark chocolate. Miniatures, craft stores.Vintage things and lavendar anything mystical and fantacy laugh

I dislike

Smoke, orange, anything that crawls in the grass and bugs. I don't like people who promise and don't follow through but I am understanding.

Swapbot

Finding swapbot has opened my eyes to the talent of so many people I am often speechless. Each and everyone of you * you know who you are, has made my days so much brighter than I could have ever imagined. You are all angels and I appreciate each and every one of you. All the little extra's tucked in with the swaps are greatly appreciated. I use them all on my ATC's. I especially love vintage photo's and tend to make most of my ATC's vintage style. I guess I have said enough for now and will get back to making more cards. Love you all.

Comment: Beautiful ATC, thanks Joanne! The only problem was that it came 20¢ postage due. I don't think it's fair, but the p.o. charges 20¢ if there's something sort of sticking out ro chunky in the envelope - like the bow on the card.
