I am a married SAHM and we have twin baby boys (jan08) that we are adopting through the foster system. We also live on a non-working farm but have chickens, 2 very spoiled cats, and a turkey who thinks he should live indoors with the cats! We used to have 2 canada geese that we hatched and raised. (we still miss them dearly) They were like our children, they even went to daycare at grandmas house! I really love my flower and herb gardens and making garden decorations as well.

I love to scrapbook, I used to sell Stampin Up! and I am a avid scrapbook supply collector! Because in the past I didnt have many things to scrapbook so I bought/collected but now I have two wonderful little blond haired blue eyed miracles from God and Im scrapbooking like crazy! (and still collecting!) :-)

I am also now making mini books for other people and their kids etc.

I love all things girly, flowery, glittery and sparkly! Im not too picky as long as its beautiful. Of course now Im learning to love rough and tumble blue and green and orange! lol

I know my craft time is limited so I will only be doing a few swaps here and there that interest me. I just dont want it to become a job, but a fun past time and I believe in putting my heart into each detail. My friends call me Martha Stewart but I take it as a compliment.

I dont believe in having to spend a lot of money or having to have exact name brands but I do believe in quality and being conscientious of good craftsmanship.

scrapbooking, Making mini-books(totally love MayaRoad), Card Making, basic knitting(newbie who makes great scarfs lol), Some day would love to use some real homespun hand dyed wool just for the experience. I am a crafty person and have done a little of most things.

New swap-bot found love.. Matchboxes! and I enjoyed Dotee's but not sure if Im any good! Might have to stick to papercrafts! lol

• unique (or not so unique) embellishments that are tiny or giant(i do mini books a lot so I need small stuff and I like extra large things for 12x12's)

• really liking felt stuff lately especially the layered flowers...yum

• plants/seeds-perennials, veggies and annuals, or even heirloom from your own garden. Zone 5

• pink ribbon stuff(breast cancer ribbon)

• Stickles

• Ranger(Adirondack) Ink daubers. I have a black and brown one and love them.. a much neater way to paint chipboard, matchboxes etc.

• swirls and flourishes

• tea is preferred over hot cocoa but I do like the flavored expresso/capucino type drinks as much as tea. prefer sugar free(but wont turn any away)

• fine glitter, did I mention stickles??

• scraps.. I can always find a place for a beautiful scrap of paper, ribbon or fabric.

• sudoku.. easy to medium. Im obsessive about it so I like to do the quicker easy ones or I will do nothing but the puzzle till its done! I tear them out of magazines, newspapers anywhere you find them! I love them all.

• Would love to have hand knitted or crochet tea cosy, mug cosies etc. I just dont have the knowledge/skill to do them.

• Notecards, I have found you need a lot of them for here! lol

Surprise me, I love sort of silly things too! I like it all!

P.S. Im diabetic so I prefer sugar free stuff but small chocolate items are greatly appreciated too.. I am a girl after all! :-)

Craft Room is eclectic shabbyish chic. Soft pink with pops of blood red and dark cranberry.

for the boys books: 8x8 size, I love blue/orange/green and pretty much any boyish stuff (like little yellow bicycle boys stuff and anything that goes with MM Jake line not necessarily that brand)

For wedding album in works: 12x12 size, Snowflakes and "winter wonderland" sort of theme.. dark red, browns, black, white and silver (can you guess it was a December wedding)

ONLY like soft scents like lavender, chamomile, freesia etc. Nothing strong or overly sweet. (have allergies)

I also like texture. Sparkly, textured paper or embellies make me feel like a kid again. Soft and/or fuzzy fabric makes me do crazy things! You do not want to see me with chenille! :->
