NOTE: Don't look at my flickr photos if you're waiting for a swap and want to be surprised!
I'm a texas mom and grammie to a really wonderful family. I live in a small town with my husband and our odd assorted pets.
My current favourite colors are burgundy and olive green. Other good colors are red, and gold. Oddly of late, I've had a liking for orange and pink together. I love gardening, handmade things, all things Victorian, lace, tea - especially florals like rose and jasmine, hot chocolate (prefer just chocolate flavour), tea themed pretties, shabby chic, anime art, and roses, rose scented things, bath goodies. I love dotees. Fabric, cotton or recyled fancies, bits of lace, buttons, glass beads (especially love small beads - large beads are hard to sew on fabric) all good things for me. My very favourite candy in the world is violet - and I can never find it! Oh and I love crocheted and knitted footies in any color and, I adore getting Christmas cards (Christian Christmas cards are fine with me)!
Like my tastes in music, my taste in books is pretty eclectic, too. But I'd have to say my very favourite genre is sci-fi/fantasy. My favourite series of books ever - 'The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant the Unbeliever' by Stephen R. Donaldson. I also enjoy courtroom and murder mysteries.
I loved the Lord of the Rings movies. I'm a big anime fan. I also love lots of old movies. Anne of Green Gables comes to mind, and all the old Christmas movies which I watch year around
So You Think You Can Dance, American Idol, Legend of the Seeker, Merlin, Burn Notice, most any anime
Sewing, embroidery, silk ribbon embroidery, crazy quilting, quilting, paper cutting, making pressed flower pictures, soap making
My favourite music spans a pretty eclectic list. I love old rock and roll, opera, classical and just about anything except jazz. I collect covers of the Hendrix tune 'Little Wing' for my mp3 player.
Blue food!
plastic beads - I just don't use them so they should go to someone who will use and enjoy them.
I don't think I'd like kawai.

I'm glad you like them. I would love to know what kinds of crafts you use the doilies for. They are cute but my imagination button for them must be rusty. I couldn't think of a thing. Enjoy your Cheap Postage Wish Grant. Was fun hunting them down for you :-) Happy Crafting.
